Pilipinas Ultimate

We're looking for players who's interested to be part of 𝗣𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗦 𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠.

Here are the tournaments for 2025:
1. 2025 World Under-24 Ultimate Championships (WU24) June 21-28, 2025 - Logrono, Spain
2. 2025 Asia Oceanic Ultimate & Guts Championships (AOUGC) September 3-7, 2025 - Kamisu City, Japan
3. 2025 World Beach Ultimate Championships (WBUC) November 2-8, 2025 - Algarve, Portugal

We are introducing a new tryout approach for the 2025 Pilipinas Ultimate Player Pool. Selected PFDA-sanctioned events will play a key role in the selection process. These events will offer participating athletes an opportunity to join the Pilipinas Ultimate (PU) player pool for the upcoming 2025 WFDF tournaments. To simplify the process for players, PFDA will utilize existing tournaments as a "try-out - tournament" for the player pool, eliminating the need for separate tryout events that require additional travel and expenses. PFDA will be sending representatives to evaluate and scout interested players.

To be part of Pilipinas Ultimate Player Pool:
1. 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Players in the pool are often selected based on their performance, skills, and potential. The pool allows coaches to evaluate and assess players over time and in various competitive situations.
2. 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Not all players in the pool will make the final roster for a particular tournament or competition. The pool serves as a way to identify the best players for the team at any given time.
3. 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵: Being in the player pool gives athletes the chance to showcase their abilities and work with the best coaches and players in the country.

Overall, the player pool is a crucial step in the process of building a strong national team, providing a structured way to evaluate and develop talent.

We’re pleased to announce that 𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗚 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 will serve as the FIRST tryout tournament for players interested in joining the National Team Player Pool.

Currently, we have three tryout tournaments scheduled for this year. We are reaching out to more event organizers across various regions to participate and create more “Tryout-Tournaments” for scouting new players.
