Get ready, it's that time of the semester again- midterm exams are here!

The Midterm Examination for the second semester of the academic year 2023-2024 starts today.

For Monday-Wednesday (MW) classes, exams are scheduled for April 3 (Wednesday) and April 8 (Monday), with the asynchronous session set for April 10 (Wednesday).

Tuesday and Thursday (TTh) classes will have their exams on April 4 (Thursday) and April 11 (Thursday), followed by the asynchronous session on April 16 (Tuesday).

Friday and Saturday classes, excluding NSTP, will hold their exams on April 12 (Friday) and April 13 (Saturday), with asynchronous sessions planned for April 19 and 20.

Lend a Hand: LM Sustenance Turnover Project

In a world where compassion fuels action, our community has come together with open hearts and unwavering generosity to make a lasting impact.

On February 25, 1986, the Filipino people demonstrated their resolute determination to oust the dictatorship of Ferdinand E. Marcos and reinstate democratic rule. This uprising was triggered by allegations of electoral misconduct in the 1986 presidential election, economic hardships, human rights abuses, and mounting opposition to Marcos' martial law decree enforced since 1972. The unified efforts of religious and civic groups sparked a transformative movement.

Luke Espiritu, the event delved into crucial discussions surrounding the trajectory of the Philippines under the Marcos Administration. His legal expertise, provided a nuanced perspective on the implications of government policies and decisions on the future of the nation.

Morillo served as LexSO's Business Manager for the past two terms.

In accordance with the provisions outlined in Article XI, Section 2 of the Constitution and By-Laws of the UE Lex Societas Orientis, "In the case of vacancies in the Board and Executive Officers, the Board, from among themselves, may appoint a trustee to occupy the vacant position. Because of the succession in the Board and Executive officers, the remaining available position will be occupied by the candidate with the next highest number of votes during the preceding election of Board of Trustees."

Given that the aforementioned position was uncontested during Morillo's candidacy for Business Manager in the last election, there exists no candidate with the next highest number of votes eligible for appointment. Classes in all levels will go on as usual for UE Manila and UE Caloocan students this Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Any UE students who might be affected by the announced transport protest will not be marked absent from their classes this Tuesday.

UE offices will be open as usual, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and from 1 to 5 p.m.
