An estimated 15 million babies are born too early every year. These Fabella babies are 1 in 10.

📍Fabella Hospital - The hospital is considered as a "baby factory" and ground zero of the Philippines’ overpopulation crisis.

We would like to share this photo of 36 weeker 2400 grammer Lauri. He is an IUGR baby. Intrauterine growth restriction, or IUGR, is when a baby in the womb (a fetus) does not grow as expected. The baby is not as big as would be expected for the stage of the mother's pregnancy.

Mommy Dys had a very complicated pregnancy, with severe pre eclampsia and gestational diabetes. She gave birth to Baby Mier at 32 weeks. Baby Mier was intubated and hooked to a mechanical ventilator in the NICU. On his third day of life, he had a pneumothorax and a chest tube was inserted to evacuate the air.

Their hospital bill has been piling up and now reach almost a million pesos. Any amount will do. Even just by sharing this post is a big help to the family.
