MR./MS ALUMNI GUIDELINES AND MECHANICS:

A. Qualifications:
❖ The contest is open ONLY to the Alumni of HCHS.
❖ The candidates must be chosen by the majority of the batch mates.
❖ Batch candidates must be 18 to 35 yrs. old however; the batch of higher age category can choose their candidates as their represantive within their consanguinity with the age specified above.
❖ Since it is a fund raising for a cause the winner for the Mr./Ms. Alumni 2023 the highest amount raised during the last canvassing.
❖ They are required to submit the candidate’s personal data (Name: Last name/First Name/Middle Name/Year Graduated in High School, and will be submitted on or before June 23, 2023 at 4pm at the Alumni Office or submit it to the following members of the committee:

- Mr. B**g Gayramara​- Pageant Chairman
- Mrs. Angeles Simbajon​-- Alumni Treasurer
- Mrs. Emily Paler​​- Alumni Staff​
❖ The distribution of the envelops will be on June 23, 2023 up until 4pm.
❖ A registration fee of 2,000 is required for the batch candidates.
❖ If the batch has no candidates, they will still give the registration fee.
❖ It is a fund raising activity, therefore each batch must raise an amount or funds to support their candidates and to win the title as Mr./Ms. HCHS Alumni 2023.
❖ Whatever amount raised will be divided into 60% and 40%. The 60% of the total funds will be for the school projects and the remaining 40% will be returned to the batch for their funds.
❖ The launching/ introduction of the Mr./Ms. Alumni will be on September 14, 2023 during the HCHS Foundation Day and on the same date will be the 1st Canvassing.
❖ The 2nd canvassing will be on the 8th of December at 4pm
❖ The 3rd and last canvassing will be on the 28th of December at 3pm.
❖ The coronation Program starts at 4pm on Dec. 28th, 2023.

Definition of Exaltation of the Cross

: a feast observed in the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox churches on September 14 in commemoration of what is held to be the historical recovery of the true cross from the Persians and its return to Jerusalem in the 7th century.

2. Any GOVERNMENT ID
3. Wear your FACE MASKS
4. Wear your FACE SHIELDS
5. Observe SOCIAL DISTANCING
(1meter apart)
6. Bring your own ALCOHOL for
Hand washing
7. If you are UNVACCINATED,
show your NEGATIVE RT-PCR
TEST or ANTIGEN TEST

Phase 3: HCHS GYM CONSTRUCTION
BUDGET: 2.7 - 3 milliom pesos
Construction has now commenced even though there is only 800k from the school and PTCA.

SR. GERTRUDE JUANCE, RSM, is the new Principal/Directress of Holy Cross High School, Camp Phillips, Del Monte, Bukidnon, replacing Sr. Ma. Corazon Basadre, RSM, who is now assigned at MMC, Tacloban City.

The Phase 3 of the HCHS Gym Construction will be starting soon with Engr. Ernie Mercadal as the leading construction engineer, with the support of the Committee on Gym Construction. We are expecting that the roofing of the entire court will be completed soon as to provide some school and alumni activities to be done there while waiting for the next phase of its construction. This is also in compliance with the recommendation of the PAASCU accreditation team, who will be coming next year, 2022, to conduct another accreditation activities and follow-up. We are again appealing to our benevolent alumni to continuously help and support our Alma Mater through their donations for the completion of the the Gym project.
