Today, we commemorate a significant event marking the moment when we Filipino people fought for our freedom. Let us celebrate the 126th Independence Day celebrating the long dynamic history and culture of our “Inang Bayan” and the unwavering spirit “MAKA-BANSA” of the Filipino people who bravely battled for their independence.

This year Independence Day set a national theme of “Kalayaan, Kinabukasan, Kasaysayan”. As we look back on our history let us not forget of our future, let’s continue to be a good citizen and not forget to stand and fight for our country because we are playing a big part in writing our country’s future.

Let this day be a constant reminder of the courage and sacrifices of the heroes who fought for our country. Rizal, Bonifacio, Mabini, Aguinaldo, Luna, and all the unknown heroes whose name might be unknown but sacrifice their lives in order to have our freedom. This day is an opportunity to show our gratitude and appreciation for their achievements.

Lets be proud of our history and let us all say “Ako ay isang Pilipino”

MALIGAYANG ARAW NG KALAYAAN! MABUHAY ANG PILIPINAS!

In English, this means "𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲, 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝," reflecting the tireless work of Rover Facilitators who have managed to comply with all the pending school requirements while balancing their responsibilities as Rover Facilitators for this school year. Their hard work and sacrifices have now paid off as their responsibilities as a working committee come to an end. Together, they embody four core values: Maka Diyos (God-fearing) 🙏, Makatao (Humane) 🤝, Makabansa (Patriotic), and Makakalikasan (Environmentally Conscious) 🌿.

“𝙃𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙪𝙩 𝙋𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙣 𝙠𝙤 𝙋𝙪𝙝𝙤𝙣”🙏

– a phrase rich with hope and faith – can be broken down into three meaningful parts: “𝙃𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙪𝙩” meaning 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞, "𝙋𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙣" meaning 𝙩𝙤 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙧, and "𝙋𝙪𝙝𝙤𝙣" meaning 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙞𝙣 𝙂𝙤𝙙'𝙨 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚. This phrase encapsulates the journey of a hopeful student, reflecting their dreams and aspirations, nurtured by patience and trust in divine timing.

From the encouraging words of our parents, "𝑵𝒂𝒌, 𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒖𝒏𝒈 𝒖𝒈 𝒆𝒔𝒌𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒂 𝒉𝒂" ("Child, study well") 📚, to the proud declaration,"𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒔 𝒏𝒂𝒌, 𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒖𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒏𝒂𝒋𝒖𝒅 𝒌𝒂. 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒅 𝒌𝒂𝒚 𝒎𝒊 𝒏𝒊𝒎𝒐" ("Congratulations, child, you’ve finally graduated. We are so proud of you") 🎓, this journey is filled with significant milestones. Each step taken in Senior High School is not just an academic endeavor but a collection of memories and lessons that prepare you for the future.

Though this chapter of Senior High School is ending, the experiences and knowledge you've gained are invaluable. These prepare you for the next stages of life, equipping you with the resilience and skills needed to navigate future challenges. Let this phrase guide you, reminding you that with hope and dedication, and with the favor of divine timing, your aspirations will be realized. As Taylor Swift beautifully sings in "𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞," "𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞-𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮," celebrate the victories and hold on to the memories as you step into your bright future.

🎶 '𝐈𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐔𝐌𝐏𝐀 𝐊𝐎 𝐃𝐈 𝐓𝐈𝐊𝐀 𝐁𝐈𝐘𝐀𝐀𝐍' 🎶

Reflecting on the song Ipanumpa ko by Oh Caraga is a testament to hard work, perseverance, and sacrifices. The organization has gone through a lot of problems and challenges that tested the commitment and dedication of the scouts.

As the lyrics of the song say, “ 𝐈𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐚 𝐤𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐢 𝐭'𝐤𝐚 𝐛𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐔𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐡𝐮𝐤𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐤𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧”
This line relates to us because, even whatever hardships the organization has experienced, we hold on to them till we overcome them, as they mold us into a better version of ourselves. Looking back on our humble beginnings with just small numbers, the organization had only 12 rover scouts way back in 2019; now the organization has grown so big that we didn’t even expect it to reach this far.

As we reminisce, let us carry forward the spirit of unity and resilience that has brought us to this moment.𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝘄𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆, 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲. 2. Improve air quality: Trees absorb pollutants and other harmful gases, helping to improve air quality and reduce the risk of respiratory diseases.

3. Prevent soil erosion: Trees help to stabilize soil and prevent erosion, which can protect against landslides and other natural disasters.

December 1, 2023, Despite the hectic atmosphere of the project galaw culmination, marking the end of the school fest held in the municipal gymnasium, a troop of dedicated scouts stood tall. As the final day of the school fest unfolded, these young heroes tirelessly assisted in the event's smooth operation, their unwavering commitment evident in every task they undertook.

From setting up the chairs to ensuring the safety of attendees, these scouts were the unsung heroes of the project galaw culmination. Their quick thinking and problem-solving skills proved invaluable as they navigated the challenges that arose during the event.

The scouts' contributions extended beyond the physical realm, their presence instilling a sense of calm and confidence amidst the bustling crowd. Their cheerful demeanor and unwavering support uplifted the spirits of fellow organizers, creating a harmonious environment where everyone worked together seamlessly.

As the project galaw culmination drew to a close, the scouts' efforts were met with resounding applause, their dedication acknowledged by all who witnessed their selfless service. Their commitment to Scouting ideals had once again been exemplified, proving that scouts are indeed "always prepared" to lend a helping hand and make a positive impact on the community.
