Title: Sensitivities of Beetle Diversity Along Elevation: A Cross-Guild Comparison

This research focuses on understanding how beetle diversity varies with elevation and how different guilds (groups with similar ecological roles) respond to these changes. This study contributes to our understanding of biodiversity and supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by informing conservation strategies.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | ECO-VENTURE CLUB PHILIPPINES, Basic Camp Setup and Seminar with Founder.

The Aspirants had a portion of fun and adventure as a Basic Camp Setup game and competition was conducted last Saturday. The group of Aspirants who won, will have their fair portion of the PRIZE!

In the afternoon, the Aspirants also had the chance to meet and listen to one of the FOUNDING members of the Club, Bai Engr. Nolito Broad Binahon. This Seminar, concluded their week of lectures and trainings, and will be the beginning of their journey towards the GREAT OUTDOORS!

ECO-VENTURE Aspirants together with the resident members and alumni gathered for a clean up drive at CMU View Deck last February 17, 2024 (Sat). The Aspirants also had their BMC (Basic Mountaineering Course) Lecture in the afternoon.

These activities aim to teach and practice the moral and ethical responsibilities we have in our environment.

Our first activity this semester with Tourism Office of Central Mindanao University is coming up! Be sure to be on time and please bring the necessary things for the said clean up drive.

Also, please be present for our Basic Mountaineering Course, that will be conducted by ECO-VENTURE CLUB PHILIPPINES, INC. - CENTRAL MINDANAO UNIVERSITY CHAPTER . This BMC is a requirement before we engage into the 𝙂𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙏 𝙊𝙐𝙏𝘿𝙊𝙊𝙍𝙎!

Intavas trail assessment and the ecological restoration efforts at Mt. Kitanglad Range Natural Park (June 2023) with the ECO-Venture members!

The organization extends their heartfelt gratitude to DENR, PAMB, CDRRMO, Datu Joseph Sagubay, trail guides, porters, the dedicated local community, and all the individuals who wholeheartedly contributed their time, expertise, and resources towards the successful assessment and clean-up drive at Mt. Kitanglad in preparation for its re-opening.

Their support and collaborative efforts were instrumental in ensuring the preservation and conservation of this natural heritage site, thus, creating a more sustainable and enjoyable experience for the present and future visitors.

Environmental Problems have been the most prevailent and the most discussed issue in our world today. However, despite the widespread awareness, minimal actions were taken to mitigate the negative effects that we have caused in our environment.

For 26 years, ECO-VENTURE CLUB PHILIPPINES INC. have been promoting the value of protecting and preserving our environment, while exploring our natural heritage in a fun and responsible manner. With this, our organization aims to not only promote certain ideals, but to help people and students apply and embody the ideals of environmental ethics and practice responsible eco-tourism on a daily basis.

TO ALL CMUans who are interested in joining our organization, we will be having our ORIENTATION PROGRAM tomorrow afternoon (September 7, 2023) Thursday, 5-7pm , Annex Building, College of Agriculture Extension.

The CMU ECO-VENTURE CLUB PH. Resident Members conducted a SINGLE ROPE TECHNIQUE (SRT) training this morning (September 3, 2023) in preparation for future wall climbing and rock climbing activities. This training also taught the members about the use of climbing hardwares such as Ascender, Belay, Rope Pulleys and Climbing ropes.

In this activity, we would like to thank the Eco-Venture Federation for their assitance and the Eco-Venture Alumni for providing this training to our resident members.
