Join us in becoming vaccine champions!
In compliance with the issued memorandum regarding Intensified COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign, it has been noted that the following personnel under HRH-DP have failed to submit their weekly accomplishment reports as reported by the Resbakuna Focal Persons shown in the following photos.
At this most critical time, we need to maximize the impact of the health workforce and highlight their passion and commitment to promote the vaccination campaign in the province. Hence, it is to be emphasized that regular updating of weekly accomplishment reports is a requirement to keep our health operation on track. Planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign rely on validated reports emanating from your level. Henceforth, your compliance is critical to increasing vaccine demand thereby achieving herd immunity.
As part of our priority goal to counter vaccine hesitancy and misinformation on COVID-19 vaccines and increase the demand by enhancing public confidence and trust on the vaccines, all HRH must comply with the following guidelines:
1. Taking into consideration the important role of Field Health Workers in the COVID-19 pandemic response and vaccination campaign, all RHU Staff under HRH-DP shall take active participation in generating a strong vaccine demand and shall conduct enhanced COVID-19 vaccine education of community members in the barangays to address misinformation that contribute to vaccine hesitancy. Anent this, the HRH staff/BHW shall:
a. Submit his/her accomplishment report on COVID-19 vaccination status, including narrative report and photos during health education conducted in his/her assigned barangay/s via official e-mail: [email protected]. The HRH shall submit their weekly accomplishment report every Saturday of the week starting effectively on November 8, 2021. (The accomplishment report shall follow the template attached below this message.)
b. Submit a master list of the eligible population to be vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine.
c. Develop a well-constructed and effective plan to cover all households in their area of assignment to achieve 70% target of the population in their assigned barangays.
For assistance and clarification regarding the implementation of this advisory, you may contact our Provincial Health Officer I and Resbakuna Team Leader, Dr. Apasrah M. Mapupuno at 09778548184.
For guidance and strict compliance.

WORKING HOLIDAYS
Last November 1 and 2, 2021, an Online Orientation on COVID-19 Vaccination Demand Generation and Risk Communication was conducted by the Integrated Provincial Health Office Lanao del Sur, under the stewardship of Provincial Health Office, Dr. Alinader D. Minalang.
With the evident low vaccination coverage in Lanao del Sur (8.2% of the eligible population), this activity aims to equip the field health warriors with comprehensive lectures on four (4) different topics under COVID-19 Vaccination as they go further with strenghtening health education in their assigned barangays. The first module was about Ways To Be A Resbakuna Champion, second module was about the Frequently Asked Questions, third module was about Addressing Vaccine Hesitancy and lastly, the fourth module was about Safe Vaccine Administration and AEFI. The orientation was attended by more than 300 field healthcare workers assigned in the 39 municipalities and 5 district hospitals around Lanao del Sur.
This is done as part of our goal to intensify COVID-19 vaccination campaign, counter vaccine hesitancy and increase the demand of vaccines.
