On this International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade and its Abolition, we honor the stories of those who endured unimaginable suffering, acknowledge the deep scars left by this dark chapter in history, and pay tribute to those who fought tirelessly for freedom.

Observed annually on August 23, this day was designated by UNESCO and first commemorated in 1998 to memorialize the deplorable practice of the transatlantic slave trade.

On August 12, a general assembly was held for all students at the Academic Building. As part of the program, the student organizations were presented, where the new set of officers of MPC-AECES was introduced.

After the general assembly, program orientation and library orientation were conducted from August 12 to August 16 for 1st year to 4th year students.

These events have set the stage for a successful academic year. Let’s harness the momentum, bring our best to every challenge, and make this year exceptional!
