|BACK-TO-SCHOOL/ PALARONG PAMBANSA SHOE BAZAAR BUKAS NA|

Binuksan na ngayong umaga ang Back-to-School/Palarong Pambansa Shoe Bazaar na matatagpuan sa unang palapag ng Multi-Level Parking Building, Brgy. Sta. Elena kalapit ng Marikina City Hall

Pinangunahan ni Vice Mayor Marion Andres at mga konsehal ng Lungsod ang pagpapasinaya ng bazaar. Dumalo din ang mga kinatawan mula sa Philippine Footwear Federation Inc. sa pangunguna ni G. Tony Andres. Sr., mga kinatawan mula sa lokal na industriya ng sapatos, at mga pinuno ng piling tanggapan ng lokal na pamahalaan.

Sa bazaar na ito, nakabibili ng mura ngunit de kalidad na Marikina-made genuine footwear products mula sa 46 participating brands mula sa Lungsod.

Ang mga produkto ay maaaring gamitin ng mga magbabalik-eskwela at souvenir items ng bisitang kalahok sa nalalapit na pagbubukas ng Palarong Pambansa 2023.

Bukas ang nasabing shoe bazaar araw-araw, mula 9:00 ng umaga hanggang 7:00 ng gabi tuwing Lunes hanggang Huwebes, at mula 9:00 ng umaga hanggang 8:00 ng gabi tuwing Biyernes hanggang Linggo.

Ang proyekto ay magkatuwang na itinataguyod ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Marikina at Philippine Footwear Federation Inc. (PFFI).

A total of 42 participants composed of footwear, bags and leather manufacturers are participating in this year’s Marikina Christmas Shoe Bazaar showcasing quality and affordable shoes, bags, belts, and other products made by Marikina's skilled craftsmen.

The city government of Marikina officially sponsored this Christmas Shoe Bazaar to help the local shoe industry recover from the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

Marikina City Mayor Marcelino “Marcy” Teodoro will lead the opening of the bazaar, which will run from November 14, 2022 until January 14, 2023 at the Freedom Park, right in front of the city hall.

Bazaar is open daily from Monday to Sunday at 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
