Ayon sa rekomendasyon ng Inter-Agency task Force o IATF na inaprubahan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, ang buong Lalawigan ng Cavite ay patuloy na sasailalim sa Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) mula 16 hanggang 31 ng Agosto, 2021.

Kaugnay nito, patuloy pa din po tayo sa pagpapatupad ng mga umiiral na protocol sa ating bayan. Bilang karagdagan, magpapatuloy po ang No Movement Sunday sa ika-22 ng Agosto, 2021. Sarado po ang Pamilihang Bayan sa nasabing araw maging ang mga tindahan at establisimyento maliban sa mga gasolinahan, delivery services at drug stores.

For purposes of further addressing concerns regarding the spread of the COVID-19 virus within the Municipality, the following directives are hereby issued:

1. Sanitation Period for LGU Mendez - August 9-11; NO TRANSACTIONS in the Municipal Hall, only essential services including that of the RHU, DRRMO, MENRO and other selected offices will be allowed.

A. The COMELEC OFFICE will be closed from August 6-15, 2021, all transactions under this agency will be suspended (Voter Registration, Issuance of Voter Certification, etc.).

B. The schedule for the PSA National ID Program is still subject to the announcement from the National Office.

2. Vaccination Operations SHALL continue and would not be suspended. Note that the Vaccination Operations in our Municipality is SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF VACCINES that are provided to us by the National Government.

3. Selected portions of Brgy. Poblacion VI and Anuling Cerca I will be placed under EXTRA-ORDINARY RESTRICTION starting 6:00 PM today, 06 August until the completion of all Contact Tracing efforts.

4. Safety and Sanitation Sunday (No Movement Sunday) will be enforced on August 8 and 15. The Mendez Public Market shall likewise be closed on these dates.
