SGIS Supreme Secondary Learner Government, in cooperation with Sangguniang Kabataan and Sangguniang Barangay of San Guillermo is mobilizing a donation drive for families in Barangay San Guillermo Morong, Rizal, who are greatly affected by the impact of Typhoon Enteng.

As of 12:49pm, Sep 2, 2024, SGIS is serving as evacuation center to 50 Families, 162 individuals and is reported to acquire more.

For those who wish to extend their assistance, the organization is only accepting in-kind donations, please refer to the image posted. You may drop your donations directly to the evacuation center, where an officer will assist you, or you may contact our page, SSLG SGIS and/or Sangguniang Kabataan San Guillermo, and we will pick-up your donations from your location, if possible.

Your kind and generous heart will light up families during these dark times. May we all be safe and well during these challenges.

SGIS Pub winds up 2024 School Press Con

Sapphire Vellum and Ang Paragos, official school publications of San Guillermo Integrated School, concluded the two-day School Press Conference that took place in the Junior High School building, August 27-28.

The event kicked-off with an opening program and was set to close on Friday, August 30, in conjunction with the Filipino month's closing ceremony.

School paper advisers, Sir Enzo and Ma'am Jemina, would like to highlight the effort and expertise shared by the resource speakers in different categories. "Thank you very much po, Ma'am and Sir, for the time you spent with our student journalists. Surely, their minds were opened to the world of competitive journalism. 'Wag po kayong madadala", said the advisers.

Announcement of winners for every individual categories will be done during the closing ceremony and afterwards be posted in the publication's official social media page.

First placers of each categories will represent the school in the upcoming Sub-office Press Conference and in higher levels of campus journalism if given the chance.

2024 School Press Conference

Get your pens ready and your mind equipped, because now's the time to be in your radical era!

San Guillermo Integrated School, On August 27-28, 2024 from 2:00pm to 4:30pm, we will be having our School-based Press Conference for Individual Categories.

This is open to all enrolled students of SGIS from Grade 7 to Grade 12. If you want to be part of the competitive journalistic scene, kindly coordinate with your school paper advisers.

Individual Categories includes: (1) Science and Technology Writing, (2) Column Writing, (3) Copyreading and Headline Writing, (4) Sports Writing, (5) News Writing, (6) Photojournalism, (7) Editorial Cartooning, (8) Feature Writing and (9) Editorial Writing.
