Agosto 31, 2024 | Ang pamunuan po ng ating SSLG ay isa sa mga organisasyon na lumahok sa isinagawang MASS OATH- TAKING ng iba't ibang youth organizations sa komunidad at sa mga paaralan sa Muntinlupa Sports Complex.

Kaugnay sa pagdaraos ng Linggo ng Kabataan, pinangunahan ito ni Mayor Ruffy Biazon at ng Youth Affairs and Sports Development Office o YASDO na naging tagapangasiwa sa gawain.

Makakabataang Araw Tunasians! 👭 💙💛🧑‍🤝‍🧑

Sa kauna-unahang "Tunasan Youth Summit" na ginanap noong Agosto 31, 2024, sa Teatro ng Museo ng Muntinlupa na pinangasiwaan ng Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Tunasan ay kabilang sa dumalo ang ilan sa mga opisyal ng ating Supreme Secondary Learner Gov't.

Sa nasabing summit ay tinalakay ang tungkol sa Mental Health, Economic Empowerment, Gender And Development at Environment na mahalagang maunawaan ng mga kabataan.

Screening and validation of student-candidates from Grade 7 & 11 who filed their certificate of candidacy for Grade Level Representative to be elected in a special election on September 3, to complete all vacant positions of SSLG Officers for School Year 2024-2025.

It was conducted by our SSLG Adviser, Ginoong Dela Cruz w/ Learner Government (LG) COMEA Commissioner for Screening and Validation, Ms. Ederissa R. Eugenio last Friday where all candidates presented themselves in an interview.

The Supreme Student Learner Government (SSLG) will be conducting a Special Election for Grade 7 and Grade 11 Representatives to complete their set of officers for School Year 2024–2025.

The said elections are open for all Grade 7 and 11 students only.

For those interested to run, here are the dates to remember:

August 28-29 — Filing of Candidacy
August 30, Friday — Screening and Validation
August 30–September 2 — Campaign Period
September 3, Tuesday — Election Day

Pagkilala at pagpapahalaga sa mga dakilang bayani ng ating bansa!

Tunay ngang Basta Tunasian, Magaling 'Yan! 💙💛

Pagbati at pagkilala sa ating tatlong kapwa-estudyante na sina Janelle Velasco Amper at Cassandra Mae Coritana mula sa Grade 10 - Atlantis; at Paris Mendez Avila na mula naman sa Grade 9 - Celcius.

Silang tatlo ay kumatawan sa ating paaralan sa ginanap na halalan para sa "Little SK" na nilahukan ng mga kabataang nanggaling sa iba't ibang paaralan ng Barangay Tunasan noong Agosto 17, 2024 sa Lyceum of Alabang.

At matapos ang idinaos na botohan ay nahalalal sila bilang mga "Little SK Kagawad" ng Barangay Tunasan.

Kaya muli, ang ating pagbati at pagkilala sa galing ng ating mga kamag-aral na nagwagi bilang mga bagong lider-kabataan mula sa ating sintang paaralan!❤️‍🔥

Safe Spaces Act, also known as "Bawal Bastos" Law organized by Youth Affairs & Development Office (YASDO) of Muntinlupa City.

What does the Safe Spaces Act (SSA) cover? The law covers all forms of gender-based sexual harassment (GBSH) committed in public spaces, educational or training institutions, workplaces, as well as online.

Bilang pakikiisa ng SSLG sa iba't ibang gawain na itinatampok sa ating paaralan kaugnay sa pagdiriwang ng buwan ng wika na may temang, "FILIPINO: WIKANG MAPAGPALAYA" kung saan kabilang na rito ang isinagawang paligsahang
"Tagisan ng Talino" para sa mga mag-aaral ng Senior High School mula sa bawat strata: ICT, Maritime, Home Economics at HUMSS noong
Agosto 22 sa pangunguna ng mga g**o natin sa asignaturang Filipino at koordineytor nito.

Ngayong buwan ng Agosto, ipinagdiriwang ang Buwan ng Wika kung saan binibigyang halaga ang kasaysayan at kahalagahan ng ating wika.

Mula sa mga salitang nagmula sa ating bayani na walang iba kundi si G*t Jose Rizal,

"Ang hindi magmahal sa sariling wika ay higit pa sa hayop at malansang isda; kaya ating pagyamaning kusa, gaya ng inang sa atin ay nagpala."

Nawa ay patuloy nating pagyamanin at bigyang halaga ang wika nating tunay na mapagpalaya.

For many students, the first day of school can be a little overwhelming. There are so many new people to meet, new teachers to get to know, and new classrooms to explore. But with a little preparation, you can make the most of your first day. Here are some tips to help make your first day a success.

1. Get a Good Night’s Sleep
You’ll want to be well-rested for your first day of school. Make sure you go to bed early the night before to be fresh and ready to learn in the morning.

2. Wake Up Early
Waking up early will give you time to eat a nutritious breakfast and prepare for the day. Arriving at school on time will also set a good precedent for the rest of the year.

3. Dress Comfortably
Another essential thing to remember is to wear your school uniform correctly.

If you’re unsure what your school’s uniform consists of, ask your parents or teachers. Some schools require students to wear specific clothing, while others allow students to wear their own clothes as long as they follow a particular dress code.

If you have to wear a specific type of clothing, make sure you try it on and make any necessary adjustments before the first day of school. That way, you’ll avoid any last-minute surprises and be comfortable in your uniform from the start.

And if you’re allowed to wear your clothes, follow the dress code closely. There’s nothing worse than getting sent to the guidance office on your first day of school because you’re not following the rules. So, read the dress code carefully and ensure you’re dressed appropriately.

4. Bring All the Supplies You Need
From pens and pencils to paper and textbooks, be sure you have everything you need before heading to school. This will help you avoid borrowing supplies from classmates or the teacher.

You may also want to bring a water bottle and snacks to stay hydrated and energized throughout the day.

5. Meet Your Adviser
Introduce yourself to your teacher and let them know if you have any questions or concerns. Getting to know your teacher will make it easier to ask for help when you need it.

6. Get to Know Your Subject Teachers
Your teachers are an essential part of your education. Take the time to get to know them and let them know you’re interested in learning. They will be more likely to help you if they know you’re serious about your education.

7. Sit in the Front Row
Studies have shown that students who sit in the front row are more likely to pay attention and do better in class. So, to get a head start on the school year, find a seat in the front of the room.

8. Be Engaged
Participating in class will help you learn the material and make a good impression on your teacher. So, when you’re unsure of an answer, please raise your hand and try it.

9. Make Friends
Knowing your classmates will make the school year more enjoyable. You can start by introducing yourself and sitting with someone new at lunch.

10. Be Positive
A positive attitude will go a long way on your first school day. So, even if you’re feeling a little nervous, remember that everyone feels that way on the first day. Just take a deep breath and relax. You’ve got this!

11. Be Prepared for Change
The first day of school is always full of surprises. Expect things to be different than what you’re used to, and be prepared for change. It can be challenging at first, but it’s also an excellent opportunity to learn new things and grow as a person.

Last July 23, SSLG volunteered to help in the distribution of bags and school supplies for Grade 7 and 8 students held in our school.

Thank you City Government of Muntinlupa for the provisions to our learners because it really helps us! Thanks also to the taxpayers! 💙 Sapagkat mula sa buwis ng mamamayan ay natutugunan ang mga pangangailangan ng sambayanan including public schools need.

Sa iginagalang nating Punong-lungsod at mga panauhing nakiisa sa pamamahagi ay malugod po namin kayong pinasasalamatan! Salamat po Mayor Ruffy Biazon at Congressman Jaime Fresnedi sa suporta!

Nasa larawan sina Mayor Ruffy Biazon, at ang ating School Head na si Dr. Ador Querubin, GPTA, Faculty Club Association, and SSLG Officers; at iba pang itinuturing na stakeholders ng TNHS.

Ito ay patunay lamang na kung talagang may bayanihan ay may rin na kabataang mag-aaral na mahuhubog at magiging magandang bunga ng edukasyon! ✨

Ngayong araw, July 22 ay matagumpay na naisagawa ang 2024 Division Brigada Eskwela Kick-off sa ating sintang paaralan.

Sa pamumuno ng ating pinakamamahal na punong-g**o, Dr. Ador Querubin ay tunay ngang naging maayos at maganda ang palatuntunan.

Dinaluhan ito ng mga g**o, mag-aaral, at itinuturing na stakeholders ng ating paaralan. Kabilang sa nagsidalo ay ang mga halal nating lingkod-bayan mula sa pamahalaang lungsod sa pangunguna ni Mayor Ruffy Biazon kasama ang halos lahat ng konsehal mula sa District 1. Nakiisa at naroon din si Kapitan Dave Arcilla ng Barangay Tunasan at Kapitan Allen Ampaya ng Barangay Poblacion, at maraming iba pa.

Nagbigay naman ng kaniyang mensahe ang iginagalang nating Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Violeta Gonzales na siya rin ang gumaganap sa kasalukuyan bilang OIC Superintendent ng SDO Muntinlupa tungkol sa kahalagahan ng Brigada Eskwela.

Samantala, kinatawan naman ng pamunuan ng SSLG ang lahat ng mga mag-aaral ng Tunasan National High School sa nasabing gawain.

Ang "BRIGADA ESKWELA 2024" ay nagsisimula pa lamang kaya magpapatuloy ito hanggang sa sumapit ang araw ng ating muling pagbabalik- paaralan kaya naman patuloy rin ang paanyaya sa lahat na magkaisa po tayo sa pamamagitan ng boluntaryong pagtulong sa pagsasaayos at paglilinis ng bawat bahagi ng ating paaralan.
