At The Music Carpet, our playgroup sessions blend musical and Montessori principles to create a well-rounded learning experience. Each session includes:

- Rhythmic practice with drums and percussion instruments,
- Vocal development through singing along with live piano accompaniment.

In addition, we enhance the learning process with storytelling, games with props, and occasional arts and crafts to engage children’s imagination and reinforce musical concepts. These activities not only support musical development but also encourage creative expression and motor skills.

Montessori Free Play & Parent-Teacher Collaboration:

Our Montessori free play period allows children to explore our classroom equipped with Montessori materials independently. It’s also a time for parents and teachers to collaborate in guiding each child’s learning journey. WE HAVE MUSIC CLASSES, SEPTEMBER 14, SATURDAY

While public schools have announced suspensions, private schools and companies like our music school will continue with our classes this Saturday, September 14.

Since there are no yellow or orange level in effect, we push through with classes. However, we are closely monitoring the weather, and rest assured, your safety is our priority. If anything changes, we’ll update you immediately. For now, we look forward to seeing you for music class!

Little Maestro Music Explorers: Group Music Class for Ages 5-8
A Fun Musical Journey – Featuring a Christmas Recital!

Introduce your child to the world of music in this 10-session group class for ages 5-8.

Kids will explore 'multiple instruments' like:
*melodic bells & xylophone
*ukulele
*keyboard
*singing with ear training

At the end of the course, students will showcase their progress with a Christmas Recital in December!

Why Enroll?
* Multi-Instrument & Singing Exploration: Kids can try out various instruments, building a love for music through hands-on learning.

Please be informed that music classes will not be held tomorrow, Friday, September 6, 2024, due to the extended pause mandated by the Mayor in response to the ongoing heavy rainfall. We prioritize the safety of our students, families, and staff during these times.

Classes will resume as usual once we are advised that it is safe to do so. It’s getting crazy—we’ve been closed for a week! Hopefully, your instruments are still dry… unlike the piano in the photo (can’t help being silly this time).
