This November 1st, the Supreme Student Council arrived at the historic Teachers' Camp in Baguio City, settling in at the Senior Mess as they prepare to engage in the highly anticipated 46th YMCA National Congress of College Students and the 26th YMCA National Campus Club Adviser’s Seminar-Workshop. It is set to take place from November 2nd through November 5th which has a definite theme of, "YOUnited Leaders: Bridging a Sustainable Society for Everyone", this then will serve as platforms for student leaders and campus advisers from across the Philippines to convene the evolving role of student councils and club advisership.

As they prepared to represent our school, these student delegates carried a profound sense of pride, fully committed to upholding our institution’s legacy of excellence. May this significant pursuit be one of those knowledgeable and memorable experience the Supreme Student Council and other leaders would take involvement.

In honor of the 21st Founding Anniversary of Lyceum of Alabang, Inc., the Supreme Student Council for Academic Year 2024-2025 proudly unveiled its 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙢𝙤𝙠𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 to be utilize in any big event held and organize within the lycean community. Well, it is a new addition equipment designed to elevate the atmosphere of this annual celebration which will make every exhilarating pursuit more engaging and fun to the attendees.

This smoke effects serve as a testament of the council's commitment on pushing through the boundaries of student-led initiatives—its strategically timed to highlight key moments of the foundation week, moreover, symbolized the academes of harmonious school spirit and brought a heightened sense of grandeur and excitement to the event—as well, accentuated the performances of each participants/contestants on the specific cultural activities!

This month of October, right after the newly elected officers and screened core team of the 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 (𝐒𝐒𝐂) were announced, the council wasted no time and dove straight into action. As a result, we humbly present a 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 accomplished in collaboration with the Lyceum of Alabang's management; the latest equipment brought to light up the DVA Gymnasium, and amplify the experience of the whole student body.

The project includes the purchase of new 𝐩𝐫𝐨-𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 and 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐫 𝐋𝐄𝐃 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬!

The council is even prouder as these were already being utilized at the opening of the 21st Founding Anniversary of the Lyceum of Alabang, taking the center stage throughout the week-long celebration and beyond. From concerts to student assemblies, we’ve got you covered not just safe and sound, but also with style. And so, this is us, taking every event to the next level!

On the 21st of October, the Lyceum of Alabang proudly commemorates its 21st Founding Anniversary with a grand opening ceremony at the Danilo V. Ayap (DVA) Gymnasium. The event was marked by a series of exciting activities throughout the day, showcasing the vibrant spirit and unity of the Lyceum community.

A highlight of the celebration was the formal Oath-Taking Ceremony of the newly elected officers of the Supreme Student Council (SSC), which was held following the symbolic lighting of the torch and the Oath of Sportsmanship. This solemn occasion underscored the council's commitment to leadership and service, setting the tone for their responsibilities in the academic year ahead. As they have pledge to uphold a just and fair service along with the values of working with integrity, transparent on every activities and lastly, having a firm dedication entailing the true sense of leadership.

Consecutively, the entire day reflected on the institution's history and continued enthusiasm to excellence in education, leadership and holistic development of other learning aspects.

To commence the celebration of the 21st Founding Anniversary of Lyceum of Alabang (LoA), the institution brought together students that is part of catholic religion, a special mass held at St. Peregrine Laziosi Parish and a simultaneous gathering at the PDIC open grounds hosted a gathering for non-Catholic students. This inclusive event reflected LoA's commitment to unity and diversity, emphasizing the importance of fostering a sense of community among its student body.

The Supreme Student Council (SSC) officers, along with other student leaders, played a vital role in organizing and executing this significant event. Their collaborative efforts ensured the smooth flow of the ceremony and highlighted the importance of student involvement with the academe's founding celebration this 2024. The council not only facilitated a memorable experience but also demonstrated the strength of collective action in building a more inclusive school environment.

In accordance with the 21st Founding Anniversary celebration of the Lyceum of Alabang, we are elated to inform you that 𝗰𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 will be permitted throughout the week’s events - from October 21 to 28, 2024.

This initiative addresses the concern over plausible discomfort during innumerable sports and activities prior to the aforementioned celebration, promoting eased mobility. With the anticipated high foot traffic and numerous events, casual wear is encouraged. However, please be reminded to wear appropriate attire at all times and avoid any clothing deemed inappropriate.

The Supreme Student Council (SSC) would like to inform all the concerning students for the forthcoming Founding Anniversary of Lycem of Alabang, as they are participating on the elimination rounds of ball games they will be excused from their respective classes from October 16th to 19th. Moreover, all the other students who are non-players are expected to attend their regular classes as scheduled.

Furthermore, from October 21 to 28, 2024, all classes will be conducted asynchronously to accommodate the various activities during the aforementioned event. Faculty members are encouraged to exercise leniency with submission deadlines, as many students will be involved in to different set of pursuit.

On 14th of October, the executive board of 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 (𝐒𝐒𝐂) held its official rigorous selection process to determine the student leaders that will take part to serve as the driving force behind the academic organization for the term of 2024-2025! After a thorough deliberation and assessment, we are proud to unveil the 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 who have showcased an exceptional and outstanding leadership qualities, creative vision, and a deep commitment to be a thriving role model for the student body.

These newly appointed leaders will collaborate with the entire organisation, other college departments, faculty, and administration to ensure that every student’s voice is acknowledged and that significant projects are executed throughout the academic year—their dedication to excellence will be at the forefront of their service.

Today, the newly elected officers of the Supreme Student Council had the privilege of a fruitful courtesy call with our esteemed Chairman, Dr. Danilo V. Ayap.

During the meeting, Chairman Ayap extended his warmest congratulations to each of us for stepping up as student leaders for A.Y. 2024-2025. His words of encouragement truly inspired us to take on this leadership journey with confidence, responsibility, and dedication. He also reminded us of the vital role we play in representing the student body and shared valuable advice on how we can further grow as effective leaders within our campus community.

The discussion also touched on the exciting projects that the SSC will be working on in the upcoming months. Chairman Ayap shared his insights and provided guidance on how we can maximize the impact of our initiatives, ensuring that they reflect the true spirit of service and inclusivity. We’re eager to get started and make this academic year a remarkable one for all Lyceans!

Today, September 27, from 2 PM to 5 PM, both partylists will have their final opportunity to convince students where to place their votes at the Danilo V. Ayap (DVA) Gymnasium. The Miting de Avance will showcase the leadership abilities and analytical skills of both the ALAB and SKLC partylists. This event will help students decide who is truly worthy of the winning position.
