Once upon a December, the Key Club of MunSci Servant Leaders embarked on a journey to bring joy to the hearts of children. Their mission, "Bigay-Puso sa Pasko ng LAKBAYAN," filled with the spirit of giving during the Christmas season.

Teaming up with the dynamic forces of LAKBAYAN and the Interact Club of Alabang Madrigal Business Park, they set out to make a difference.

The air was filled with laughter and excitement as the team engaged with the children, sharing stories, laughter, and the Christmas spirit. The Bigay-Puso sa Pasko initiative aimed not only to provide material gifts but also to create happy memories.

In that moment, the true magic of Christmas unfolded—not in the presents, but in the acts of kindness that they shared with each other.

Children are definitely the highlight of Christmas. They are the source of joy of parents or adults that gives them gifts. And with the Key Club of MunSci Servant Leaders, children of Isla Verde had a joyful experience especially with Christmas fast approaching.

Together with students from Grade 9 Fleming, the KCMSL went to Isla Verde on December 9, 2023, to conduct a short program with fun games and prizes for children. Later that afternoon, they gave goods to parents too.

Gifts could be in the form of cash, in clothes or in goods. Speaking of giving gifts, the Kiwanis Club of Muntinlupa Rizal conducted its annual gift giving at the minimum security compound in Bilibid, alongside the Key Club of MunSci Servant Leaders.

Alongside the gift-giving, they conduct health check-ups for students and provide vitamins as part of their program titled 'Womb to Work Program.'

The Christmas season is truly the season of giving and may this inspire you to give to others too!

Most of the youth in today's generation experience mental health problems. As leaders, we must not ignore the problems that the youth are facing. Even key clubbers can experience these types of things. That is why, as part of Key Club Week Celebration Day 5, “Connect the Ks" 🗝, the Key Club of MunSci Servant Leaders would connect different key clubs in the Philippine Luzon District 🇵🇭 with the help of their sponsoring Kiwanis Club, the Kiwanis Club of Muntinlupa Rizal, through an online mental health awareness seminar entitled “Unlocking the Mind: Nurturing Mental Health for Academic Success.”✨🧠✨

As we celebrate Key Club Week Day 5, the Key Club of MunSci Servant Leaders will be conducting a mental health awareness seminar 🗣️ that is open to all the key clubbers in the Philippine Luzon District. This will be a virtual seminar 💻🖥 so that other clubs will be able to join in the zoom.

This will be composed of different lectures and activities regarding mental health. Key Clubbers, Kiwanians and Faculty advisers from each club are also welcome to attend the seminar‼️

Saturdays are meant for children to rest 🛌 , to enjoy 😉 or to have fun. 🏃‍♂️ And last Saturday, 💙 Kiwanis Philippine Luzon District Division 3D 💛 held its ☝️ Kiwanis 1 Day 👌 with 💙 Key Club of MunSci Servant Leaders 💛 with the theme, Spreading Love ❤️ , Sharing Light 🌟 Asia-Pacific Green Generation. 💚

The event was held with the Kiwanis Clubs, namely:

The event had two parts: community service 🤲 for children with disabilities ♿️ and the tree-planting 🌳 activity under Project EMERALD. 💎 After the speeches were delivered, games 🪅 with prizes 🎊 for the children were conducted.

The highlight of the event & the surprise 🎊 that surely brought joy to the children was Jollibee's appearance 🐝 . The children were filled with glee, spending time watching Jollibee dance 🕺 and the first part concluded there.

The second part was the tree planting activity 🌳 where the children also participated 🤝 . Calamansi 🫒 were planted around the school 🏫 and teamwork 🤝 was shown as multiple club members worked together 👫 with the children 👪 .

And as the Chinese proverb says ㊗️ , “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time, is now.” 🌳

The ✨ ️Kiwanis Club of Muntinlupa Rizal ✨️ conducted their ✨️ 48th Installation of Officers and Induction of New Members ✨️ . With the lovely Kiwanis International Philippine Luzon District Governor Kwn Glenda Hufano ⭐️ , and esteemed guests, Mayor “Ruffy” Biazon ⭐️ , Congressman Kwn Jaime Fresnedi ⭐️ and PLG Ignacio “Toting” Bunye ⭐️ , the event was not only successful but fun 🎉 .

👥 New members included the Key Club of MunSci Servant Leaders' adviser, Mr. Vicente B. Linchoco Jr. ⭐️ Together with KCMSL's Co-Adviser, Mrs. Gemma Jereza ⭐️ , they hosted 🎤 the event. With the presence of advisers, officers participated throughout the event. The officers helped 🤝 from registration to being ushers and usherettes. KCMSL President, John Nicholas Gameng 👨‍💼 , Internal Vice President, Paul Jake Mica 🤵‍♂️ and Treasurer, Xylia Banaag 👩‍💼 delivered an enjoyable performance 🎶 during dinner 🍽 .
