For me, one of the best things about being a doctor is the thought that someone who isn’t family or a friend or who really doesn’t know you personally could feel safe and secured with just a touch of your hand.

Someone trusts you entirely, without question and with complete confidence that you will save him/her from the pain and suffering. The faith is so strong that it will move you to do what you can and give your very best just to be the healer he/she needs.

It’s an unexplainable human connection.

And I can’t imagine doing anything else. ❤️
