Last August 1-2, the Family Planning Organization of the Philippines, together with the 13 different chapters across the nation, conducted its annual National Youth Leaders Assembly (NYLA) at the Manila Grand Opera Hotel.

Kabataang FPOP CamSur Youth Core Group President, John Louis Navajas, and Vice President Albert Cuyos were the representatives of the CamSur Chapter.

The assembly was fulfilled with brimming inputs by the speakers. On the other hand, all the youth representatives etched their mark with their systematic plans for the future.

The vision, objectives, and plans to meet the objectives were thoroughly assessed by the facilitators and chapter representatives.

We want to express our utmost gratitude to the guest speakers, facilitators, executives, Chapter Program Managers, and fellow chapter representatives for this incredible experience.

On July 23, the FPOP CamSur chapter went to Brgy. Luluasan, Balatan, Cam Sur for the Project RESPOND SRHMM

Despite the gloomy weather, the team provided and distributed the chapter’s free health services for the people.

A comprehensive orientation was done to inform the public regarding safe s*x, family planning, and more

The chapter distributed free family planning commodities, IEC materials, health-aid kits, and vitamins.

We want to thank the officials and participants that enabled us to conclude this with a success.

FPOP CamSur heads to Poblacion, Siruma for the Project RESPOND SRHMM

To conclude the last medical mission for this month, the Family Planning Planning Organization of the Philippines - Camarines Sur Chapter went to Poblacion, Siruma for the Project RESPOND SRHMM

The chapter distributed free family planning commodities, IEC materials, health-aid kits, vitamins, and more.

Free health consultation and HIV testing were also offered to the public.

We thank the officials, administrators, and government units that played a pivotal role in this activity’s success.

FPOP Camsur Chapter went to Iriga City District Jail in the Project RESPOND SRHMM

Last July 19, the FPOP CamSur chapter traveled to the Iriga City District Jail.

The participants that were aided were the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL)

Last July 13, during the Local Youth Leaders Assembly (LYLA), the outgoing FPOP youth core group stepped down to their triennial term.

As they bestowed their titles, new youth officers were elected. The officers are;

LYLA 2024: The Leaders of the Future

July 13, on the sunny side of North 12 Private Resort, Kilometer 12 Carolina, the Family Planning Organization of the Philippines - Camarines Sur chapter held its annual Local Youth Leaders Assembly (LYLA) to pave the way for the newly acquired youth volunteers and future leaders for the said chapter.

Appreciation to those participants who wish to pursue becoming a youth volunteer signed their official recruitment forms to validate their membership.

To show the chapter’s gratitude and appreciation, certificates were distributed among the guest speakers, facilitators, and members of the assembly.

This is just the beginning. Expect our youth to be equipped with knowledge and fight the SRHR issues that we are facing today.

LYLA 2024: The Leaders of the Future

July 13, on the sunny side of North 12 Private Resort, Kilometer 12 Carolina, Naga City, the Family Planning Organization of the Philippines - Camarines Sur chapter held its annual Local Youth Leaders Assembly (LYLA) to pave the way for the newly acquired youth volunteers and future leaders for the said chapter.

The MCs; Ms. Dyna April Frias and Claudine Bombahay started the introduction to welcome the participants.

An opening remarks of the National YCG president of the FPOP, Ryan Porcadilla, made his remarks.

It then proceeded with the FPOP CamSur Chapter Program Manager Ms. Zheryl Zamora to formally inaugurate the event.

FPOP youth treasurer, Angelo Esponocilla, introduced the house rules and objectives of LYLA. He emphasized that regardless of one’s experience in terms of leadership, LYLA will always be an avenue for individuals who seek to be either a volunteer or a leader in the prospective future.

To exhilarate the ambience, the segment “getting to know each other” was held.

From thereon, Mx. Sugar Sorius assessed the participant’s knowledge by discussing the different myths and facts regarding STIs and HIV.

Ms. Jizele Regalado oriented the participants on what is FPOP to grasp the gist of an idea of what the organization is.

After that, an activity entitled “Islands of rights creation,” where the participants drew their ideal island and proposed multiple policies, rules, and laws to make the island habitable.

Ms. Ranzel Camacho’s “When Would You End It” simulates the participant's viewpoints through a depiction of multiple scenarios about relationships. Lunch was distributed from thereon

A mind-clinching “Ako at ang aking katawan,” symbolizes breaking the chains of stigmas and having an open mindset as we make the next step as an advocate for Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR)

Going into the limelight of the event, Lady Elle made a comprehensive orientation about SRHR and how the participants, must spearhead the drive for change.

Lastly, participants who wish to pursue becoming a youth volunteer signed their official recruitment forms to validate their membership.

To show the chapter’s gratitude and appreciation, certificates were distributed among the guest speakers, facilitators, and members of the assembly.

This is just the beginning. Expect our youth to be equipped with knowledge and fight the SRHR issues that we are facing today.

In FPOP CamSur, we seek to make our society a better place and give access to family planning methods for the marginalized; One person, people, and community, at a time.

FPOP CamSur forged its way to BJMP Naga City Female dormitory for the Project RESPOND SHRMM

Last July 10, the FPOP CamSur chapter gathered themselves and went to BJMP Naga City Female dormitory for the Project RESPOND Sexual Reproductive Health Medical Mission

At the outset, the medical staffs and youth volunteers of the FPOP CamSur implemented a comprehensive orientation about safe s*x, STDs, and family planning and its commodities.

During the said orientation, the participants actively cooperated, exhibiting their brimming intellect abou the subject matter.

From thereon, the chapter distributed hygiene kits, medicine and facilitated the HIV testing, implant, and personal counselling.

We would like to thank the administrators, nurses, and policemen who served their time and effort to fulfill our hopes for the event.

The FPOP Camsur Chapter, together with the DOJ Parole and Probation Administration RO5- Naga City Parole and Probation Office in the Community Outreach with Partnership, implemented an outreach program last July 5 at Pagcor, Balatas, Naga City

The outreach program comprises giving service deliveries such as; HIV Screening & Testing, distribution of FP Commodities (Condoms & Pills), distribution of IEC Materials & Flyers
