The NHCP Museo ni Jesse Robredo joined the Naga City Government in commemorating the 82nd Araw ng Kagitingan with the theme, βPagpaparangal sa Kagitingan ng mga Beterano: Saligan para sa Nagkakaisang Pilipino.β
A simple wreath-laying ceremony and tribute program was conducted at the Monument of the Unknown Soldiers, Naga City Hall, Naga City earlier this morning.
The nation commemorates Araw ng Kagitingan in remembrance of the Fall of Bataan when Filipino and American forces surrendered to the Japanese after resisting for months with limited weapons, ammunition, and supplies.

Please be informed that the NHCP Central Office in Ermita, Manila will be CLOSED on Araw ng Kagitingan (9 April) and Eidβl Fitr (10 April).
However, NHCP Museums will be open except for museums undergoing rehabilitation which will remain closed until further notice.

Earth Hour is being observed annually to raise awareness about climate change and energy conservation.

Saysay Bikol, in partnership with the National Historical Commission of the Philippines and Museo ni Jesse Robredo, brings you Bansayan III: National Training-Seminar for Philippine History Teachers.
We invite high school Araling Panlipunan teachers, Philippine history instructors in the tertiary level, and student teachers to join us on 11 May 2024 at the NHCP-Museo ni Jesse Robredo Auditorium, Taal cor. Juan Miranda Ave., Naga City.
Our lineup of speakers this year is led by Fr. Francis A. Tordilla, Rector of the Holy Rosary Minor Seminary and President of Saysay Bikol. He is joined by Mr. JoΓ£o Paulo Reginaldo, instructor at the Department of Philosophy and History, University of the Philippines Baguio. Mr. John Aryel Dela Paz of Naga College Foundation will facilitate the afternoon workshop and teaching demonstration.

As one of the history museums of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, The Museo ni Jesse Robredo pays tribute to the life of the former mayor of Naga City and Secretary of the Department of Interior and Local Government of the Philippines and his lasting legacy of Good Governanace.
