I’m Forty One and I’m the only One. Don’t even waste your time trying to compete with me. Joke! Happy birthday to me.

A year ago, this was not the that I had when I was still on fisticuffs with my ex-husband. Getting married in America, with the legalization of gay marriage, and me being so naïve that time because I’m still a tourist in my own right living and romanticizing New York City for just two years surely is one thing, but having to undergo from an assault which unfortunately made me a domestic violence survivor made me forgot how how it feels like to celebrate pride in right at the center of the LGBTQIA that time.

So let me just say this once and for all, I will never forget what happened during the entire course of this marital controversy and from what I believe, became a talk of the town, losing friends left and right, losing my sanity, getting depression, suicidal tendencies and on top of it all when my best friend, my dad, Rolando Galsim passed away from coronavirus last August 21, 2021.

The first two paragraphs may sound scandalous, but hear me out because as of this moment even if if I said that I will never forget the experience, in my heart and in my mind, everything and everyone who wronged me and betrayed me, have been forgiven, “pinatawad ko na kayo”

I am now in my best shape, in my best part, and absolutely there will be no one who can or should I say who I will let to control me without my permission. it is true that the hand of the Lord works in its mysterious ways, and probably I may be one of those living examples.

I pray that my journey will go on and on as days, weeks, months and years gone by in the city that never sleeps, with so many acquaintances and friends and allies that I meet every single day.

The best is yet to come so see you in World Gay Pride 2025 which will be held in Washington DC.

Of course June is NYC’s most celebrated month for the LGBTQIA community, but today, Sunday is also Father’s Day and because my dad died of coronavirus last August 21, 2021 I may have just to celebrate it still by remembering, just by sitting on a park and praying for him because he is or he was still my best friend, my mentor, and I believe that I am still living my life through his footsteps as I am NOW his living Legacy. I love you, Papa.

You have probably known him as one of the famous Showbiz personality in the Philippines, He is known in the Entertainment industry as Krissy Achino. After this day even if I have been their professor last 2017 in Colegio De San Juan De Letran, he nevrr forgets me. I became their Professor in Video And Film Subject that made this batch (swipe right) getting nominations under Cinemalaya (A Film Festival In The Philippines) during that year. All i can say is that im so proud of all of them. Not only to but to all of his classmates that are now making names in the industry! Soar High Guys!!!! Between Prince and Spring Street there is a secret pocket garden called Elizabeth Street Garden. And this is one of the most sought after secret gardens in SOHO, NYC that I always dreamed of seeing because every time I pass by this garden it’s always closed.

Now that I have this opportunity to come inside and see this divine, one of it’s kind NYC’s hidden gem, I kind of have the luxury to see people reading books etc. etc. alongside with some Ancient Greek Sculptures and mind you as a Leo, it reminds me of how powerful it is to manifest the Leo rising energy that is within me (I am an August baby) and I have never seen a LION covered in lush greens that is very telling that a brand new season has begun.

A week before Christmas I dreamed of my dad and so I did this painting of him and made sure that the painting is included in the mini Altar together with my Patron Saint Our Lady Of Perpetual Help—- which is a little tribute to the greatest person I’ve known… Papa i miss you, my best friend who accepted me, Love me unconditionally, it’s true Christmas won’t be the same since you left. Bantayan mo lang kami Papa katulad ng ginagawa mo sa amin ngayon. I know. We know. Mama knows. So there you go Merry Christmas everyone and I love you Papa you’re always in my heart. ❤️❤️❤️
