Napabilib si House Speaker Martin Romualdez sa makabagong information system ng Romblon State University (RSU) na magpapasimple at magpapabilis sa mga proseso sa unibersidad, mag-o-automate sa iba’t ibang tasks, at magpapaigting sa data security measures para sa mas episyenteng operasyon sa campus.

Saklaw din ng smart campus program ng unibersidad ang mga dagdag na components, tulad ng learning management system, university accounting system, university HR management system, campus data center, at iba pa.

“I witness RSU’s smart campus and the new developments it is bringing not just to Romblon, not just the region, but the entire country. Indeed, Romblon, particularly RSU, stands at the forefront of what President Ferdinand R. Marcos envisions: the digitalization of the Philippines,” sabi ng leader ng mahigit 300 kongresista.

Kasama ni Romualdez na dumayo sa Romblon nitong Miyerkules, Hunyo 5, si Ako Bicol Party-list Zaldy Co, chairman ng House Appropriations Committee.

“By leveraging technology and innovations, we aim to cultivate future-ready students who will excel in the digital world and contribute to academic excellence and creativity. This initiative will set RSU apart as a unique institution in the region and beyond,” ani Romualdez.

CHED MIMAROPA celebrate the outstanding achievement of Romblon State University ranking #261 in the 2024 World’s Universities with Real Impact (WURI) Global Top 300 Innovative Universities.

Romblon State University (RSU) has achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the first higher education institution in the MIMAROPA region to be included in the WURI Global Top 300 Innovative Universities. This prestigious recognition, announced for 2024, places RSU at rank #261, highlighting its innovative approaches and significant contributions to education and sustainable development.

This historic achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and innovative spirit of RSU’s faculty, students, and administration under the visionary leadership of University President Merian Catajay-Mani, Ed.D. RSU has excelled in three key areas that contributed to its high ranking, Industrial Application (Rank #24), Generative AI Application (Rank #29), Symbol and Promotion (Rank #33).

The Summer Course is organized by the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta Indonesia from 1 July-12 August 2022 with the theme "Climate Smart Agriculture". The course will tackle the impact of climate change from the perspective of agronomy, soil/water science, microbiology, plant protection, and socio-economy, as well as best practices and potential mitigation and adaptation strategies.

This course is equivalent to 3 credits, with fully online activities. A credit transfer statement for students who will complete the course will be provided.
