SEPTEMBER 26, 2023 | AYALA MALLS HARBOR POINT

The Rotaract Club of Downtown Olongapo II and Rotary Club of Downtown Olongapo had the privilege of partnering with the Olongapo City Medical Society to commemorate the 66th National Medicine Week.

In addition to the presentation by the esteemed Dr. Dennis Delgado, who explored the topic of "ENDOCRINE DISRUPTOR CHEMICALS: Nasa Kapaligiran, Nagdudulot ng Karamdaman," the event featured complimentary services including free bone density scans provided by Hi-Precision Diagnostics and blood pressure monitoring from other valued partners.

We'd like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ayala Malls Harbor Point for generously providing the venue for this event, and we thank all attendees for their active participation in this significant gathering dedicated to the advancement of knowledge and community betterment!

AUGUST 19, 2023 | GORDON HEIGHTS NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

The Rotaract Club of Downtown Olongapo II participated in the nationwide Brigada Eskwela 2023 campaign with Gordon Heights National High School being the primary beneficiary.

On August 19, 2023 we encouraged everyone to join us at our cause. In which we were able to donate paints and cleaning supplies to the school.

By working together we are one step ahead for the betterment of our schools, community and most importantly our learners!

AUGUST 12, 2023 | OLONGAPO CITY DISTRICT JAIL, FEMALE DORMITORY

In a display of unity and purpose, the Rotaract Club of Downtown Olongapo II successfully hosted the 'Kalasag: Kampanya Laban sa Human Trafficking, Sagipin ang mga Biktima' event at the Olongapo City District Jail Female Dormitory. The event, held on August 12, 2023, aimed to raise awareness about human trafficking while empowering victims and promoting peace within the community.

The event was made in the presence of Pastor Glenn de Guzman, representing Local Activation and Partnership of International Justice Mission Philippines, as the keynote speaker. With his extensive knowledge and compelling experiences, Pastor Glenn shed light on the ongoing battle against human trafficking, leaving an impact on the attendees.

The goal from the start, was to build peace and prevent conflict. Through engaging with a group of remarkable women within the correctional facility, we shared invaluable knowledge, fostering understanding about combating human trafficking.

As a way to show commitment, the club also distributed hygiene kits to attendees, ensuring their well-being, and offered a nourishing lunch.

Thank you to everyone who made this event a resounding success. Let's keep the fire burning and work together for a brighter future.
