Kap. Romel D. Alduheza, barangay officials, barangay workers and the faculty of Gala ES and Gala NHS worked together in the ABKD initiative to search and destroy dengue breeding sites. They highlighted the importance of a clean environment to prevent mosquito-borne diseases. Keeping our surroundings clean is key to protecting our families from mosquito bites.

DENGUE AWARENESS AND PREVENTION MONTH

Gipangunahan ni Barangay Captain Romel Alduheza uban sa mga Brgy. employees ug volunteers sa Brgy. Gala ang pagsunod sa 5S (Search, Self, Seek, Support, and Sustain) kung diin gipahigayon ang pagpanghinlo, pag yabo, ug pag dispatsa sa mga botelya ug container nga adunay stagnant water nga posibleng puy-an sa lamok nga nagdala ug dengue. Ang maong aksyon kanunay nga gi himo isip paglikay sa maong sakit ug aron ma protektahan ang mga lumulupyo sa barangay.

ASENSO ONE FAMILY, ONE PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM

Since the new school year is approaching, we will once again receive applications for the Asenso One Family, One Professional Program.

Each student beneficiary will receive Twenty Five Thousand Pesos (P25,000.00) per semester!

There are limited slots available so we will be guided by the order of priority in selecting applicants, starting with those na wala pay professional sa ila pamilya.

See the requirements and qualifications below, and submit your applications to your respective barangay captains nga mao ang gisaligan na mag process ni-ini.

Deadline for applications will be on June 28, 2024.

Kay uso man kuno ang mga karon, this week we quietly started the Asenso Ozamiz Free Medication Program to further provide assistance to Ozamiznons in need.

Bisan pa nakatabang na ang program sa ato mga kaigsuonan nga gasakit, kadalasan kulang pa ni kay pagkagawas nila sa hospital mangita ghapon sila ug ipalit sa ila mga tambal.

Usahay dili gihapon sila ma ulian ug ensakto sa ila sakit kay wala may ikapalit ug tambal.

Hence we expanded the scope of the local government's assistance to also provide for the medicinal needs of our recovering constituents.

So Ozamiznons who just got discharged from a hospital can now seek assistance from the City Hall to get their free prescription medicines!

BREAKING NEWS | Mayor Samson Dumanjug's complaint against Governor Henry S. Oaminal is baseless. In a 7-page resolution, NAPOLCOM emphasizes that there is no abuse of authority.

On Wednesday, we were part of the 131 members who voted YES for the approval of HB 9349 or the ABSOLUTE DIVORCE BILL on Third and Final Reading.

But despite voting yes to the bill, I would like to reaffirm this representation’s commitment to preserving the sanctity of marriage and strengthening families as a basic autonomous social institution. Be that as it may, my heart goes out to those whose marriages are irretrievably broken. I sincerely hope that with the passing of this bill, we are giving you another ray of hope that one day you will attain self-fulfillment that each one desires.
