The Supreme Student Learner Government of Rofulo M. Landa High School headed by Mr. Menandro C Tazal, adviser and John Vnice Francis Delawis attended the Roll-out of Batang Empowered and Resilient Team (BERT) for Student Leaders and Teacher-Advisers on November 23, 2023 at Subic Sports Complex. Through this activity, they learned contingency measures when different disasters hit the school and the community.

Pinangunahan ng SSLG ang school-based leadership capability training na isinagawa noong Setyembre 30, 2023 sa Rofulo M. Landa High School. Ang training na ito ay dinaluhan ng mga bagong halal na opisyal mula sa SSLG, YES-O, BKD, at iba't ibang Clubs. Binigyan-diin ng mga tagapagsalita Ang ng gampanin ng bawat lider, kung ano ang dapat taglayin na katangian ng mga lider at kung paano gumawa ng plan of action, project proposal at activity completion report. Masayang ibinahagi ng mga dumalo Ang kanilang natutuhan sa isinagawang training.

Muling naisakatuparan ng SSLG ang layunin nito na tumulong sa mga mag-aaral sa pamamagitang ng Isang proyekto na gumawa ng study table mula sa pinaglumaang gulong ng motorsiklo. Layunin nito na bigyan ang mga mag-aaral ng lugar para magbasa, kumain at iba pang kapakipakinabang na gawain.

Masayang tinanggap ng mga piling mag-aaral ng Rofulo M Landa High School ang mga school supplies mula sa Bukas Palad program ng Supreme Secondary Learner Government. Ang programang ito ay naglalayong tulungan ang mga mag-aaral na nangangailangan. Sapamamagitan ng mga donasyon mula sa mga tong may busilak na kalooban ay naisakatuparan ng SSLG ang programang ito. Ang SSLG ay patuloy sa pagkakaloob ng tulong sa mga mag-aaral kahit sa munting paraan.

𝙄𝙉 𝙋𝙃𝙊𝙏𝙊𝙎: 𝙆𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙊𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢

Last March 31, the Supreme Student Government administration of Rofulo M. Landa Memorial High School led a Kindergarten Outreach Program at San Vicente Elementary School. This program aimed to provide assistance to kindergarten learners by giving snacks, school supplies, and slippers through the donation of various individuals.

The program started with a short orientation from the school head of San Vicente Elementary School, Mrs. Myrna E. Laguatan. They welcomed the Supreme Student Government officers and Sir Menandro C. Tazal and expressed their gratitude for the kind assistance given to their learners. The program then proceeded with the distribution of school supplies, food, and slippers. The kindergarten learners' faces lit up with joy and excitement as they received the items that they could use for their education.

SSG President Paul Ivan A. Anilao, SSG Vice President Arvy Vonn A. Apino, and SSG Grade 8 Representative Rochelle Jane Alvez also conducted some fun activities to entertain the kindergarten learners. They did a story telling, sang songs, and danced together with the learners. The students' enthusiasm and energy were contagious, making the event more memorable.

The Kindergarten Outreach Program was not only beneficial for the kindergarten learners but also for the Rofulo M. Landa Memorial High School students who participated in the event. It taught them to be compassionate and to give back to the community. It also helped them to develop their leadership skills as they organized the program.

The success of the program would not have been possible without the generosity of the individuals who donated their resources. Their contributions made a significant impact on the lives of the kindergarten learners. It is a testament to how a small act of kindness can go a long way.

In conclusion, it was a heartwarming and successful event. It provided much-needed assistance to the kindergarten learners and also instilled values of compassion and leadership to the RMLMHS SSG Organization who planned the program. It is a shining example of how a small community can come together and make a positive change in the lives of others. 💗

𝘼 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚

An individual's general psychological, emotional, and social well-being is referred to under the umbrella term "mental health." It includes many facets of life, including as our attitudes, sentiments, actions, and interpersonal connections. Because it influences our thoughts, feelings, and actions, mental health is significant. It also influences how we relate to others, handle stress, and make decisions. Given that it can have an impact on many aspects of our lives, maintaining our mental health is just as crucial as maintaining our physical health.

Finding hope might be difficult due to the overwhelming nature of mental health conditions. But it's crucial to keep in mind that there is always hope and that a solution can be found. Giving someone hope while they are dealing with mental health issues is a strong and crucial thing to do. Reminding them that they are not alone, that aid is available, and that they can get through this trying time can be helpful. Additionally, it might aid in giving them the inspiration and support they require to press on and seek assistance. Giving a person with a mental health issue hope can be as easy as speaking kindly to them, listening to them, or offering a shoulder to cry on. It has the potential to be strong and truly impact someone's life.

Here are some of the activities included to the project:
- Writing and posting of notes in a freedom wall.
- Publishing of motivational quotes and phrases in the Official page of RMLMHS SSG Organization.

This project aims to:
1. To be aware of one's own thoughts and feelings.
2. To reduce the stigma associated with mental health issues, so that those affected can feel comfortable seeking help without fear of judgement or discrimination.
3. To create public awareness and education about mental health, to help people understand the issues and to promote early intervention.
4. To ensure that individuals have access to the resources they need to gain a better understanding of the issue, recover, and lead fulfilling lives.

𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜 | On December 3, 2022, the Consultative Meeting Cum Presentation of Child Protection Policy Roadmap and Implementation Plan was held at the Zambales Teachers' Training Center.

Officials from the Federated Supreme Student Government (SSG) of Zambales Schools Division, SSG Teacher-Advisers, Head Teachers/Principals, and designated Guidance Councilors from various Zambales schools attended.

Different types of scenarios involving examples of discrimination and violence were discussed, and attendees' views on the legal bases of DepEd were also procured.

Following the discussion, flyers were distributed to the SSG President, SSG Teacher-Adviser, School Head/Principal, and designated Guidance Councilor of each school/district in Zambales.

𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜 | The Rofulo M. Landa Memorial High School, Supreme Student Government (SSG) officers, Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) officers, and teachers held an outreach program at Brgy. Salaza, Palauig, Zambales, December 18, 2022.

Even though it is a Saturday, the student leaders are devoted to delivering the donations given by the entire Roulians community.

This outreach program aims to provide assistance and support to the children's needs in the barangay. The activities included games, dancing, and gift giving.

The children's genuine joy at seeing various gifts demonstrates that we were successful in fulfilling their wishes.

This will not be possible without the assistance and guidance of these people. Dr. Lenie N. Elamparo, our school's principal; Sir Menandro C. Tazal; SSG Teacher-Adviser, Dr. Maricel C. Hidalgo; and BKD Teacher-Advisers, Mrs. Virgin B. Falaminiano, Mrs. Marife Amlog, Mr. Rex Falaminiano, and Mr. Louie A. Aledo from the Araling Panlipunan (AP) Department.

The SSG would also like to thank RMLMHS faculty members for sponsoring and donating such items, as well as students, relatives who donate toys and other necessities, and other individuals who share the same passion for extending hearts through gift giving, particularly to children.

We gave these children a good memory of their childhood that they will cherish for a long time thanks to our collective efforts in creating this program. We are truly their best gifts because we give them something that truly comes from our hearts.

It has been five years since Rofulo M. Landa Memorial High School's Men's Volleyball Championship Title was snatched away, and the team has experienced drought and defeat.

But, huge kudos to the perseverance and unwavering dedication of our talented athletes, the crown has been reclaimed for this year's District Athletic Meet.

The Rofulians Men's Volleyball Team and I would like to thank the school staff, coach ( Laderas Bolis Annaliza ), fans, parents, fellow students, and alumnae of RMLMHS for their steadfastness love and support for the team.

And, of course, thanks to the team trainers, Gabriel Santos and Charles Larson Henajosa, who make time to teach the team.

The Department of Education (DepEd) Office of the Assistant Secretary for Youth Affairs and Special Concerns - Youth Formation Division (OASYASC - YFD) is one and in full support of the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) in ending Violence Against Women (VAW).

All teachers, parents, and students are also enjoined to participate in this campaign. Let us all unite to end violence against women. Let us all unite for a VAW-Free Philippines.

We are celebrating National Students' Day 2022 today, November 17, 2022, with the theme "Ikaw... Ako... Tayo: Bahagi ng Proseso at Boses ng Pagbabago."

To commemorate this day, the Division Federated Supreme Student Government (SSG) Organization of Zambales created a Facebook frame for the National Student Day (NSD).
