“𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐢𝐫 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲” offers a comprehensive journey through the multifaceted aviation industry. Celebrating the culmination of young minds'🧠 tireless exploration and dedication to the world of flight, this showcase serves as a testament to the boundless possibilities within the realm of aviation.

Explore the world of aviation as students from various academic programs gather to present their extraordinary projects👷‍♀️ and works.

𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬:
• Competition is open to all year levels of BS Aircraft Maintenance Technology
• All participants must register to join
• Each participant must submit one (1) project
• Projects must be visually appealing with a 3-5 sentence description
• Each participant receives ₱500.00 worth of tickets to sell for voting (1 ticket = ₱10.00)
• Each project will have a designated box for votes
• There are five categories - One (1) winner per category, with a total of five (5) winners
• People's Choice voting starts on November 20, 2024, at 8:00AM and ends on November 22, 2024, at 1:00PM

𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐬:
• The participant with the highest number of tickets in each category shall be declared the winner and receive a cash prize of ₱1000

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐥𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 is a sport in which contestants fly with accuracy and precision while performing particular maneuvers. The aim is to show mastery of the model aircraft's flight capabilities by accurate control, fluid ex*****on, and mastery.🧙‍♂️

In level flying competitions, the goal is to keep the aircraft flying as 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 as possible, aligned with the 1.5m posts🚩 placed around the flying area. In one lap, the pilot has four chances to gain a point. Overall, the pilot has 80 laps to gather up points to win. The pilot with the most number of points wins the contest.

𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬:
• Competition is open to all year level, programs, and courses
• Each program/department should only have 1 team representative
• All participants must register to join
• Teams shall be composed of 2 members - one pilot and one spotter
• Pilots must wear the safety strap properly at all times - improper use will reduce the maximum laps to 30

𝐋𝐚𝐩𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠:
• Each pilot has a maximum of 40 laps
• To earn a point, the aircraft's wing tip must enter and exit the white line
• The aircraft must be parallel to the point line; a perpendicular approach or exit results in no score change
• The aircraft must be at least 1 meter away from the point posts
• The pilot with the most number of points wins

𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠:
• The judging and lap counting start when the plane takes off
• If the pilot exceeds 40 laps, the scoring ends immediately
• If the pilot completes fewer than 20 laps due to technical issues, they may have a second attempt with a maximum of 30 laps
• The pilot must land without damage, including landing gear issues or nose-first landings

Karamihan sa mga airlines sa buong mundo🌏, magkaibang pagkain ang inihahain sa 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐭 at 𝐂𝐨-𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐭 upang maiwasan ang banta ng food poisoning — na maaring maging sanhi ng kawalan nila ng kakayahang makapagpalipad ng eroplano nang maayos.🛩️

Ang patakarang ito ay galing sa kadahilanang dapat maiwasan ang panganib ng 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝-𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬.🤧

Ang 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠🍴, na maaaring makuha mula sa kontaminadong pagkain, ay maaaring magdulot ng matitinding sintomas🤢. Kung parehong nagkasakit ang mga piloto, maaaring malagay sa panganib ang 𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧 ng nakararami.

Kung hindi naman maiiwasan ang pagkakaroon ng magkakaibang pagkain, kailangang siguraduhing magkaiba ang oras🕑 ng kanilang pagkain. Sa ganitong paraan, magkakaroon ng 𝐛𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐝 upang hindi sabay ang pagkakasakit ng mga piloto.

The 𝐑𝐮𝐛𝐛𝐞𝐫-𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 is an event where aviation student enthusiasts design, build, and pilot small-scale aircraft powered solely by rubber bands. The competition aims to promote creativity, engineering skills👷‍♀️, and a deep understanding of aerodynamics.

Participants craft intricate models, winding up their rubber bands for maximum flight duration and precision🎯, creating a thrilling spectacle of ingenuity and flight in a controlled environment.

𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬:
• Competition is open to all year level, programs, and courses
• Each program/department should only have 1 team representative
• All participants must register to join
• Teams shall be composed of 2 members each
• The usage of plastic parts is prohibited (Each identified plastic part results in a 30-second penalty from the recorded flight time)
• All components must be made from scratch
• No ready-made parts (e.g., propellers) are allowed
• Aircraft inspection will be held the day before the competition
• Participants can change the rubber band powering the propeller after each attempt, but no repairs or modifications to the aircraft during the competition are allowed
• Flights are officially timed from takeoff to landing/crashing
• Each participant gets 3 attempts, with the longest flight time recorded
• Participants have 1 minute to prepare before each attempt
• Flight time begins upon release and ends when the model hits the ground or an obstruction
• The competition consist only a single round
• Ties are broken by the longest flight time (up to milliseconds)

• Length: 25 cm. (max)
