In celebration of World Hearing Day and in anticipation of Better Hearing and Speech Month, Communicare hosted a free Hearing Screening on March 3 and a retooling Seminar on Auditory Verbal Therapy for its SLPs on April 25.

The free Hearing Screening was co-presented with Gruppo Hearing and Cochlear, and made possible by their volunteer audiogists, ENTs from PGH, and SLPs from Communicare.

Committed to making better hearing possible, Communicare SLPs and colleagues had a hands-on training on assessing children with hearing loss. The seminar was facilitated by AG Bell AVT Specialist and Cochlear Southeast Asia’s rehabilitation manager, Leah Labrador.

We help make ear and hearing care a reality for all.

In cooperation with the UP-College of Allied Medical Professions Alumni Association, TheraFree will run from APRIL 20 to 27 in ALL Communicare Therapy Center branches. Online services are also available.

Priority is given to those without existing OT, PT, and SLP services.
