A consumer survey was conducted at the Puerto Galera Public Market by the Negosyo Center as one of the criteria for the Pamilihang Bayan ng Bidang Mamimili (PBBM) Award 2024. Through the survey, consumer satisfaction can be measured based on how the public market upholds the rights of consumers.

Mayroon ding sapat na supply ng mga construction materials sa mga hardware.

Samantalang patuloy ang pagtaas ng presyo ng mga agricultural products dahil sa mataas na angkat mula sa mga supplier.

| Nagsagawa ang DTI sa pamamagitan ng Consumer Protection Division at mga Negosyo Center sa bawat bayan sa Oriental Mindoro ng pagsubaybay sa presyo at suplay ng school supplies para ngayong buwan ng Hunyo 2024.

Kabilang sa mga gamit pang-eskwela na ininspeksyon ay ang notebook, padpaper, pencil, ballpen, crayon, sharpener, eraser at ruler.

Ang ginawang pagbisita sa mga establisyimentong nagtitinda ng school supplies ay bilang paghahanda sa darating na pasukan sa darating na katapusan ng buwan ng Hulyo, at alinsunod sa mandato ng DTI na siguraduhin ang risonableng presyo at sapat na suplay ng mga pangunahing pangangailangan.
