A few days ago i spoke to my friend Bow Stroke and was asked to setup one of his cellos. I was instructed that this cello will be used in a concert by a well known artist. Yesterday i was told that this artist was Laufey. I am very honored that one of my set-uped instruments was used by a popular artist. I hope that Laufey had fun playing this cello that I setuped. Reglued Open Seams

It's pretty common for Classical String Instruments to experience this issue where the sides of the body would open.

There are several reasons why this would happen:
• Weather
• Expired Glue
• Brute force (if it hits something concrete)

But no worries as this is very repairable by replacing the glue with a new one.
What's commonly used is hide/bone glue made of cow bone marrow extract.
