Surrendered at the AETSO Desk around last week of May. The name on the said birth certificate is 𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗡 𝗝𝗔𝗬𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗢. The image of the certificate itself is not posted due to privacy reasons.

The Philippines is facing scorching temperatures, so staying safe is crucial. Here are some ways to keep cool and avoid heat-related illness:

𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲, 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲, 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲! Drink plenty of water throughout the day, even if you don't feel thirsty. Avoid sugary drinks, alcohol, and excessive caffeine as they dehydrate you.

𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗮𝗶𝗿-𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘀. If possible, stay in air-conditioned spaces. If not available, cool down with a fan, take a refreshing shower, or visit designated public cooling centers.

𝗗𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆. Opt for loose-fitting, lightweight, and light-colored clothing. You may protect your eyes with sunglasses.

𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘀. Avoid exerting yourself during peak heat hours. You can reschedule outdoor activities for the cooler mornings or evenings.

𝗦𝘂𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝘆. Apply sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher at least 15 minutes before going outside, and reapply every two hours, especially after sweating or swimming.

𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘃𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀. Those with chronic health conditions are more susceptible to heatstroke. Check on them regularly to ensure they are staying hydrated and cool.

[REPOST] | General Assembly of Class Representatives

The Aviation Electronics Technology Student Organization (AETSO) - Villamor Campus held a student-centric general assembly yesterday, April 22, 2024, with Class Representatives of the AET program.

The officers addressed student concerns across academics and facilities, and conducted a transparency report alongside recommendations and roundtable discussions. Additionally, AETSO initiated discussions regarding the student manual. By revisiting the student manual, the officers along with the class representatives aimed to inform students of current college rules and raised recommendations on regulations in need of revision.
