The 11th AIR FORCE GROUP RERSERVE of 1st Air Force Wing Reserve is composed of Volunteer Reserve Officers and Enlisted Reservists whose primary areas of responsibilities are Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela (CAMANAVA), Quezon City & Marikina City.
It was an honor and privilege to be invited by the United States Embassy to witness their Memorial Day Celebration last 26 May 2024 at the Manila American Memorial Cemetery, McKinley Road, Taguig City. Various dignitaries from the Department of National Defense, the Armed Forces of the Philippines, United States Armed Forces, Descendants of World War II Soldiers, and other Foreign Embassies were also in attendance to witness this event. The 11th AFGR hopes to witness more of these events in order to continue fostering friendships with our American Allies.
The 11th AFGR through its 1101st ACP augmented the security and crowd control for the Tambobong Indakan Festival last 11 May 2024. Citizens of Malabon City highlighted their various specialties such as their outstanding Fish Market and famous Pansit Malabon through their exuberant street dance performances which culminated at the Malabon Sports Complex. We are proud to work together with various organizations such as the Malabon City DRRMO, JTF-NCR, PNP Malabon, and BFP among others to ensure the smooth conduct of this festival.
The City of Malabon has awarded the proud Men and Women of the 11th AFGR a Plaque of Appreciation for their efforts on 20 May 2024. We hope to continue nurturing good relationships with the Local Government of Malabon for future activities such as this.
The 11AFGR in collaboration with West Fairview Elementary School (WFES) participated as blood donors and provided manpower assistance to the recently concluded Health Caravan Medical Mission that was organized by WFES as part of the school's Gender and Development (GAD) program on 07 April 2024 at WFES Campus Grounds in Fairview, Quezon City.
The activity guided by its theme "Patas na GAD (Gamutan, Alaga, at Damayan) para kay Juan at Juana, was able to provide free medical services for all genders of all ages alike, including Vital Signs, Random Blood Sugar Test, Health Education, Reproductive Health Check for seniors, Visual Check Up, Free Circumcision for 30 students and a bloodletting drive.
The 11th AFGR will continue to support all programs of its partners, stakeholders, and other organizations as together we contribute to nation-building.
The 11th AFGR has been recognized and awarded the Plaque of Appreciation by the Department of Education during the agency's Partnership Appreciation Ceremony on 20 February 2024 at GSIS Theater, Pasay City. The plaque has been personally awarded by Honorable Sara Z Duterte, Secretary of the Department of Education and Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines, and was received by COL ELMER A NICOLAS PAF (RES) (GSC), Group Commander of the 11th AFGR.
The Plaque of Appreciation is awarded for the 11th AFGR for its unwavering support to the DepEd's MATATAG agenda in improving the learning experience of our learners for actively participating in the agency's Brigada Eskwela program, as well as for the other agenda of DepEd.
The 11th AFGR will continue to support all programs of DepEd, and other organizations as together we contribute to nation-building.
The 11th Air Force Group Reserve (AFGR), Philippine Air Force, together with the 103rd Technical Administrative Services Group (TASGrp), Philippine Army, have conducted a clearing operation for the newly renovated Sandoval Building of Acacia Elementary School in Malabon City. The personnel have hauled various junk, and assisted the faculty and staff of the school in clearing out all the unnecessary junk, in preparation for the 3rd Grading Period on March 2024.
The 11th Air Force Group Reserve continues to look forward to all future activities with our brothers from the other branches of service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, LGUs, and private organizations as we contribute to the development of our country.
The 11th AFGR, in collaboration with the 12th AFGR, attended the 127th Commemoration Anniversary of the martyrdom and heroism of G*t Jose Rizal at Jose Rizal Monument, Rizal Park, Manila on 30 December 2023. The occasion was graced by His Excellency, Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr., and was attended by representations from various government agencies key officials, politicians, uniformed service organizations, descendants of G*t Jose Rizal, and other Rizalista organizations, the Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines and the Diplomatic Corps.
The 11th AFGR through its 1121st ACP participated as crowd-control augmentation force and provided manpower assistance for the conduct of the pilot Medical Mission with Ahon Mahirap District V Quezon City Chapter on 16 December 2023 at Lagro Elementary School in Quezon City. The 11th AFGR continues to support and collaborate with LGUs and private organizations in the conduct of all activities for community building and service. The 11th AFGR personnel also enjoyed the wellness services offered by Juzz Healing PH after the mission.
Furthermore, the 11th AFGR would like to extend its deepest gratitude to Delivery Hero Philippines, Inc. "Food Panda (foodpanda)" for the Medical Kits to our personnel! The group looks forward to being partners for all future nation-building activities.
The 11th AFGR, thru its 1101st ACP Malabon participated as crowd-control augmentation force for the Grand Marian Procession, in the culmination of the celebration of the Feast of the Patroness "Impong Maria" at the Parish of La Purisima Concepcion in Concepcion, Malabon City on 10 December 2023. The 11th AFGR continues to look forward to all future activities with religious organizations, LGUs, and private organizations to further the capabilities of the 11th AFGR for community building and service.
The 11th AFGR participated as crowd control augmentation force to assist the members of BCMT Class 22A "MAHATAGAN", as organizers, to their Community Outreach Activity on 25 November 2023 at Brgy. Sto. Niño, San Mateo, Rizal. The unit planned and implemented a systematic way of distributing the grocery goods from the office of Senator Sonny Angara to the target beneficiaries. The unit continues to support these activities in partnership with the LGUs and Charitable Organizations to further enhance the capabilities of the 11th AFGR for community building and service.
The 11th AFGR held its General Assembly Test for 2023 on 18 November 2023 at Brgy. Greater Lagro, Quezon City. The unit periodically conducts this activity to allow its personnel to update their records, submit and process administrative requests, and be informed of the latest processes and other dissemination. Furthermore, it is an opportunity for all personnel to socialize and catch up with everyone in the unit.
The 11th AFGR with PCGA 107th Auxiliary Squadron of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA) participated in the recently concluded Earthquake and Landslide Search and Rescue Orientation Course (ELSAROC) on 03-05 November 2023 at the MMDA PSD Napindan Hydraulic Control Structure, Makati City. This training not only upskills all personnel of both the 11AFGR and PCGA, but it also helps the government in expanding its available responders in HADR operations.
The 11th AFGR continues to empower, upskill, and train its personnel to equip vital knowledge so it can be useful and relevant to the demands of the situation.
The 11th AFGR participated as crowd control augmentation force for the conduct of the La Naval Grand Procession 2023 on 08 October 2023 at Sto. Domingo Church, Quezon City. The unit, in collaboration with Philippine Air Force A7, Philippine Army, Philippine Navy, and Philippine Coast Guard worked together to ensure a peaceful celebration of the festivities. The 11th AFGR continues to look forward to all future activities with other uniformed services, religious organizations, LGUs, and private organizations to further the capabilities of the 11th AFGR for community building and service.
The 11th AFGR, together with the 12th AFGR, is proud and honored to celebrate the National Heroes Day, with no less than our Commander-in-Chief, the President of the Republic of the Philippines, His Excellency Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. as the Guest of Honor and Speaker at the Libingan ng Mga Bayani, Taguig City on 28 August 2023. The troops are privileged to hear the President's message to the nation to be inspired by our heroes, as well as witness the wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier to pay tribute to all Filipino heroes who braved death and persecution for the nation, justice, and freedom.
The 11th AFGR together with the 1st AFWR Wing Commander, BGEN CHARITO B PLAZA PAF (RES), also visited the PEFTOK Korean War Museum to honor the veterans who bravely fought in the Korean War. They warmly greeted them and was given a tour of the museum. The Officers and Enlisted Personnel who joined the tour admitted that most Filipinos have forgotten that the Philippines helped in the Korean War and wishes to help immortalize the sacrifices made by the brave PEFTOK Veterans by promoting the PEFTOK Korean War Museum.
The 11th Air Force Group Reserve, in collaboration with the United Architects of the Philippines Quezon City-Eliptical Circle Chapter and the Quezon City Police District Station 1 conducted Brigada Eskwela 2023 at National Orthopedic Hospital School for Crippled Children (NOH-SCC) Quezon City on 26 August 2023. The troops hauled heavy junks, cleared the campus grounds, repainted the classrooms, and planted decorative plants to improve the education environment for the students. The members of the UAP-QCC, as well as the faculty members of the school, extended their warmest appreciation and congratulations to the 11th AFGR and are very excited to partner with the unit for all future activities of their organization. We hope to continue our partnership with these LGUs and Charitable Organizations to further the capabilities of the 11th AFGR for community building and service.
The 11th AFGR thru its 1101st ACP Malabon conducted Brigada Eskwela 2023 at Dampalit Integrated School, Malabon City on 19 August 2023. The troops repainted the corridors, hauled and cleared the back corridor of the school building as well as trimmed overgrown trees, bushes, and vines. The faculty also recognized and awarded their appreciation in recognition of the overwhelming support and assistance of the unit in their endeavor. We hope to continue our partnership with these LGUs and Charitable Organizations to further the capabilities of the 11th AFGR for community building and service.
The 11th AFGR thru its 1121st ACP Lagro conducted Clean-up Drive Operation at Lagro Centennial Park, Brgy Lagro, Quezon City on 02 September 2023. The troops, in collaboration with PNP QCPD Station 16 Pasong-Putik, Barangay Lagro Personnel, and various civilian volunteers worked side-by-side to clean all scattered dried leaves and twigs throughout the property. This activity promotes a sense of responsibility, and camaraderie and is a reminder that a clean and healthy environment will definitely benefit everyone. We hope to continue our partnership with these LGUs and Charitable Organizations to further the capabilities of the 11th AFGR for community building and service.
On August 14, 2023, the 11th AFGR conducted Brigada Eskwela 2023 at West Fairview Elementary School, Quezon City. The troops organized As part of the unit's commitment to all its partners, we will continuously support these endeavors, and for other LGUs and Charitable Organizations to further the capabilities of the 11th AFGR for community building and service.
The 11th AFGR thru its 1101st ACP Malabon conducted Brigada Eskwela 2023 at Acacia Elementary School, Malabon City. The troops hauled various kinds of junk from all 5 key areas of the school, as these areas were full of garbage that can be the source of pests that can harm the students of the school. We hope to continue our partnership with these LGUs and Charitable Organizations to further the capabilities of the 11th AFGR for community building and service.
The 11th AFGR thru its 1101st ACP Malabon provided security assistance and crowd control during the Commencement Exercises of the City of Malabon University on 28 July 2023 at the Malabon Sports Complex, Malabon City. On July 29, 2023, the 1121st ACP Lagro was activated with the full support of the 1st Air Force Wing Reserve. Our guest speakers included Honorable Patrick Michael Vargas the Quezon City 5th District Representative and Mr. William Bawag from the Office of the Quezon City Mayor. The event was graced by our beloved Wing Commander, BGEN CHARITO B PLAZA PAFR, who was the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
The 11th AFGR extends its congratulations to the newly Inaugurated and Activated 1121st ACP! This wasn't possible without the support of the Community of Barangay Greater Lagro, the Office of Congressman PM Vargas, the Office of the Quezon City Mayor, Pacific Paints Philippines (BOYSEN Philippines), and the Mary Immaculate School of Valenzuela.
The 11th AFGR officially forged a partnership with Boysen Paints Philippines (Pacific Paints Philippines) through a MOA signing ceremony held at Boysen Paints Philippines Technical / Marketing Office in Quezon City. The 11th AFGR is grateful for the overwhelming support of Pacific Paints Philippines (Boysen Paints) for the 11th AFGR Headquarters, ACPs, and future ACPs. We hope to continue forging partnerships like this to further enhance the capabilities of the 11th AFGR in serving the nation!
The 11th AFGR in partnership with Sandigan, Inc., participated in a repacking operation at the 1st Air Reserve Center Bldg., CJVAB, Pasay City on 05 July 2023. This repacking operation is part of the White T-Shirt Drive project of Sandigan Inc. for the benefit of the school children of Marawi City, Lanao Del Sur in making a positive impact and creating a meaningful change in the community. The 11th AFGR looks forward to all future activities of the organization
as part of our socioeconomic mandate in the reserve force mission.
The 11th AFGR, thru its 1101st ACP Malabon participated in the BayaniJuan Fun-Run and Clean-up Drive with the reservists of the 103rd Technical and Administrative Service Group (TASG) of the AFPRESOM under the command of LTC ROMANO B BAIS CHS (RES) at the Navotas Centennial Park, Navotas City on 18 June 2023.
The 11th AFGR, thru its 1101st ACP Malabon provided assistance to the members of the United Population Against Poverty, Inc. (UPAP) in celebration of their 4th Anniversary last June 11, 2023, at Ascoville Covered Court, Caloocan City. The officers of UPAP are looking forward to the assistance of the 11th Air Force Group Reserve for all future activities of their organization.
The 11th AFGR along with the 2nd Air Force Wing Reserve participated in the tree planting activity of the Department of Public Works and Highways in celebration of their 125th anniversary last June 10, 2023. One thousand two hundred and fifty (1,250) seedlings were successfully planted in the DENR La Mesa Watershed Nursery. We hope to sustain and have more activities this in order to better care for the environment. See you again on the next mission!

The 11th AFGR through its 1101st ACP assisted in the "Operation Tuli" by Barangay Potrero, Malabon City. This activity was wholeheartedly supported by the Honorable Malabon City Mayor, Jeannie Sandoval. So many children showed up and the Doctors and Nurses continued to work until the evening until every child who is able was circumcised. We hope to continue in our socio-economic activities in partnership with the LGUs and other charitable organizations. See you on the next Mission!
The 11th AFGR in partnership with Pacific Paint (Boysen) Philippines, Inc., Anti-Corruption and Crime Investigation (ACCI), and Community Service with Integrity – International Group (CSI-IG), held a repainting activity for the 1131st Marikina ACP. The outpour of support from the various 11th AFGR Personnel and its partners resulted in a very successful repainting and cleaning of the interior of the 1131st ACP Building in Malanday, Marikina. We hope to continue to foster and build new partnerships in order to serve our AOR better as reservist personnel. We hope to see you again on the next mission!
The 11th AFGR held a general assembly for the 1101st ACP. This will help the personnel process their personal documents in an effort to standardize the papers needed for their careers as a Philippine Air Force Reservist. It is the Group's goal to help further the passion for serving through seminars like these.
