Ato’s Story
It all started in 2014 as the Siopao Station. The business mainly focused on selling Chinese buns at wholesale price. Seeing the need of the community for clean, quality, low-priced meals, the company eventually evolved into adding affordable but flavorful food after scouting different areas in the Philippines, like pansit habhab (from Lucban), beef pares (from Retiro), siomai rice (inspired by chowking), chilled taho (a creative take on the traditional pinoy taho) among others. The market responded very well to the offerings that it eventually grew to have a central kitchen and two branches in Pasay and one in Makati.
Now, the company is called Ato's Chinoy Food Express, taken from the name of the owner’s late father who was known for his love for food, and the Chinoy concept eventually solidifying as the differentiator together with quick food preparation and unbeatable price.
