Alfonso, Cavite — The Sining Kape at Kultura proudly announces its inaugural National Coffee Art Camp, set to take place at the scenic Nayong Kalikasan Organic Farm. This three-day event, scheduled for May 17, 18, and 19, promises an immersive experience in coffee, art, and sustainable practices.
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS :
Coffee Culture and the Arts Exposition:
Explore the rich heritage of coffee and its local origins. Through captivating exhibits, workshops, and interactive sessions, participants will gain a deeper appreciation for the goodness of coffee.
Beneficiaries: This year focuses on supporting local coffee farmers and their children. We empower the next generation to carry forward our traditions by imparting cultural and artistic knowledge.
Reviving Cultural Heritage: The event aims to revive the recognition of Kapeng Barako, a unique Filipino coffee variety. Collaborating with creative minds, we seek to elevate its status through sustainable mediums and organic processes.
Environmental Advocacy:
Addressing critical environmental issues, including Climate Change, remains at the core of our mission. By supporting Alfonso’s local farmers in planting more coffee trees, we contribute to a greener future.
Filipino Coffee Artists Shine:
During the exhibition, visitors will marvel at the exquisite artworks created by talented Filipino Coffee Artists. From intricate latte art to thought-provoking installations, their expertise will be on full display.
Live Demonstrations and Community Support:
Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the local coffee community in Alfonso, Cavite. Attendees can witness live demonstrations by skilled artists while contributing to a cause that matters. (Tomi Blanco, Project Barako)

Announcing our 8 shortlisted solo artists and artist groups to join Muralista Competition 2024: Dreams of Coffee & Wine! We thank all the 27 artists and artist groups that have sent in their work for the preliminary round of the competition and congratulate the 8 that will proceed to our final round held right at Manila Coffee Festival!
Competitors will have one and a half days from the opening to afternoon of March 15 and opening to noon of March 16 to create their mural. 2024's theme is "Dreams of Coffee & Wine" and artists may interpret this as they like but they must use the provided coffee and wine. The announcement of winners and prizes, as well as the awarding ceremony, will also be held on March 16.
Catch the top 8 during Friday and Saturday of the Festival as they start and complete their work in the allotted time for The Juror's Choice Award and The Sponsor's Choice Award!
PS: Emails will be sent to the 8 shortlisted competitors about the orientation and next steps.
