I had the time to revisit the 1st ever online course I bought back in 2020🤗

I can't believe it's been almost 2 years since I took this training and this is where it all started!

I even remember having my mom watch Demi's Youtube Vlog about her own journey and we were so inspired.

I will never forget how motivated and excited I was while taking this online course 🥹

I literally started freelancing with ZERO knowledge 😮‍💨 I didn't even have any laptop to use 🤧

Why BETA TESTING Your ONLINE COURSE is IMPORTANT?
Last month I’ve crafted few Strategy Documents for my potential clients which are Course Creators and I noticed that doing BETA testing is often not part of their plan (initially).
So, I want to further explain why it’s important and who should be BETA test their course.
✨First, what is BETA TESTING?
A beta test (or beta launch) is doing an early test run of your online course with a few number of people (has to be your target market) before launching it to a wider range of people. Successful course creators do these, but you'll also find them in the SaaS world too. Beta testing works great for just about any product.
✨Should you offer your BETA Launch for free?
Your BETA can be free or paid. There’s no hard rule that you have to make your beta free. However, it is a good idea to make it free to a small group of people if it's your first ever online course.
Tip: If you offer free access to your course, just remember to give a feedback deadline and incentive for completing the course.
✨BENEFITS of BETA TESTING Your Online Course
YOU GET FEEDBACK
Beta testing will give you the opportunity to gather feedback, test your course's user experience and find out if your course delivers the results you promise.
YOU GET TESTIMONIALS / CASE STUDIES
Beta tests are also a great way to get testimonials for that sales page when you launch officially. And we all know social proof/Case Studies help your sales page convert better.
If you’re a new course creator, you may not have any testimonials for your online course. By giving a small number of people free or significantly reduced access in exchange for a testimonial, you can overcome that problem.
IDENTIFY POTENTIAL ISSUE/PROBLEM
One last benefit is the ability to identify potential support issues in your course.
For example, if there's something that's unclear and you get a lot of emails about it during the beta, you'll be able to fix it before you release your course to the public--and avoid hundreds of emails about the same issue.
✨WHO Should BETA TEST their Online Course?
Every online course creator should beta test their product, but especially those:
• who need to get testimonials for their Official launch
• who want to get feedback on their content before launching to their Market
• who want to minimize potential roadblocks
