Recently, I had to deal with some adulting issues: Estate Tax.

According to BIR, Estate Tax is a tax on the right of the deceased person to transmit his/her estate to his/her lawful heirs and beneficiaries at the time of death and on certain transfers, which are made by law as equivalent to testamentary disposition. It is not a tax on property. It is a tax imposed on the privilege of transmitting property upon the death of the owner. The Estate Tax is based on the laws in force at the time of death notwithstanding the postponement of the actual possession or enjoyment of the estate by the beneficiary.

Public transportation will remain operational. This includes Libreng Sakay ng Lungsod ng Pasig, tricycles, and LTFRB-authorized buses, PUJs, UV Express, and Motorcycle Taxis
- Libreng Sakay will operate from 5:00am-9:00am and 3:00pm-7:00pm
- One (1) passenger per tricycle
- Operations of Motorcycle Taxis is allowed per guidelines of the National Task Force Against Covid-19 (NTF)

Bicycle shops in the City of Pasig will be allowed to operate. This is pursuant to Executive Order PCG 18 s.2020 and Sangguniang Panlungsod Resolution No. 59 s.2020 declaring biking as an essential form of transportation

“Transportation workers, including drivers and operators of tricycles, and operators of company shuttle services, and drivers and operators of PUVs...shall be considered APOR and exempt from restrictions” pursuant to Sangguniang Panlungsod Ordinance No. 34 s.2020

I have been hiding in the dark these past few days. The rising numbers of of COVID 19 triggered my fear of going through the pain of losing my dearest friend. I haven’t been really over it since he passed last September. Here it goes again.

Friday last week I had a dream.

In 2019, I attended a session about protecting yourself from heartbreak. Ang goal ng coverage na to is to help you cope with the immediate aftermaths of a heartbreak.

Buti nalang after ng planned travel nangyari ang break-up at walang other planned events other than that kung hindi ang sheket nun besh! Masakit sa puso at masakit sa bulsa!

As a woman with a guy bestfriend growing up, dapat iwas na once may partner na si bestfriend. We have to step back and put some boundaries as a form of respect to your bestfriend, his relationship and his beau.

As for the Change Oil FB serye. I hope all parties will find peace after this. Sana makapag-MONA (Moved On Na) na agad ang aggrieved party sa Change Oil.

During this time, would you rather be free outside or stay home safe on a Friday?

Before the new normal, I am home-office type of girl. I don't go out that much. So I thought "Ok lang yang lockdown di ko na need masyado mag-adjust kase di naman ako gala."

It's been a year since the lockdown happened. Akala ko di ako masyado ma-aapektuhan pero sa totoo lang ang laki ng naging impact nya sa well-being introvert ka man or extrovert.

That feeling of being restricted to move and unable to interact with others physically especially with your family gets the best of every one. Your greatest enemy are your thoughts.

Dito na bubuhos yung mga repressed memories, negative feelings & beliefs na naka-embed sa subconscious natin because we no longer doing the activities that enables us to cope with it in the past.

How do I cope with the situation?

It was hard at first. Since I majored in Psychology the first thing I did is reach out to one to help me come up with new coping mechanisms. I also went through Theta Healing session.

Here's my activities that helps me cope with anxiety which started last year. This can be done within the comforts of my room. as:

🔴KUMU Live Stream - This serves as my social activity. I get to meet awesome people from different walks in life not only from different parts of the country but around the world.

🔴YOGA - 30 minutes yoga exercise and meditation daily. I started it this week and it does help me focus and manage my stress.

🔴ONLINE LEARNING - Learning new skills that will help me keep up in the rapidly changing environment

🔴ART - I started painting again to express those pent up emotions.

Since COVID19 is still lurking around the corner, I'd rather stay home not only for myself but more on for the safety of the two seniors under my care.

Next time I will share to you the relaxation techniques shared to me if under a stressful situation.

This quote reminds me of a time when I was working as a customer service agent of a well known bank brand.

One day I received a call from an upset customer and she is shouting over the phone.

All of her bill payments did not go through because the check she deposited is still on a clearing process.

Apparently she called before she went to the bank (which is Friday) and was advised it will only take 2 days for the check to clear. However clearing process takes 2-3 business days.

I was able to rectify the situation using our existing service recovery process and did not close her bank account.

This customer has been with the bank for about 30 years. 30 years worth of TRUST and LOYALTY was almost lost because of a small detail (days vs business days).

Trust is very important in every relationship. May it be business, friendship and marriage. It may only take a small boo-boo and you will lost it. Do you guys agree?
