Enjoy your new telescope.
Asteroid Aphophis is one of the rarest astrological events we will witness in our lifetime.
On April 13, 2029, Apophis will pass less than 20,000 miles (32,000 kilometers) from our planet’s surface – closer than the distance of geosynchronous satellites.
This will be best viewed by telescopes and binoculars.
Thank you for trusting our store.

Partial Solar Eclipse happening on April 20 @12:54pm
Be safe Astro Fans, make sure to have proper eye protection when observing.
1 MONTH TO GO BEFORE THE PARTIAL SOLAR ECLIPSE!
In the Philippines, a Partial Solar Eclipse will happen on April 20, 2023. The eclipse will be the last solar eclipse visible in our country, and the next will be in 2028.
From the global perspective, the eclipse will happen as a Hybrid Solar Eclipse, the rarest type. It happens when an eclipse changes between annular and total as the Moon's shadow moves in certain areas.
Visible in Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, and a portion of Antarctica and the Pacific Islands.
NOTE! Do not use your phone camera to see the eclipse. It may damage the camera lens and your eyes. Please use genuine solar filters.
Save the date, AstroShakers! More information to come. Stay tuned!
Look up now Astro Fans!
Lunar Occulation of Venus
LOOK UP TONIGHT | Lunar Occultation of Venus
On March 24, the Moon will pass in front of Venus, creating a lunar occultation. Only the disappearance of Venus will be visible in the Philippines. The reappearance will occur at 8:33 PM, which the Moon has already set.
What is Occultation?
Occultation, from an observer's perspective, is a temporary disappearance of one celestial body (like Venus) as it moves out of sight behind another body (such as Moon). But this is only visible from a portion of Earth's surface.
The next occultation of Venus visible in the Philippines will be on September 17, 2036.

Hello Astro Fans!
Get your telescopes ready for the upcoming Total Lunar Eclipse!
WATCH OUT | TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE
November 8, 2022 -- Save the Date ❤️❤️❤️
Total lunar eclipses are always spectacular to watch. On November 8, for about 85 minutes, the Moon will completely turn red.
Moonrise and Partial Eclipse
Looking at the East-northeast (ENE) horizon, the Moon will rise at 5:19 PM, several minutes after the partial eclipse begins. It will be accessible around 30 minutes after the moonrise, though the Moon's low altitude of about 6° above the ENE horizon at that time affects the visibility of the partial eclipse.
Total and Maximum Eclipse
The total eclipse will begin at 6:16 PM, as the Earth's inner shadow (or umbra) fully covers the Moon. Maximum eclipse, when the Moon is closest to the center of the Earth's shadow, will occur at 6:59 PM, when the Moon is about 22° above the ENE horizon. The Moon will remain completely red until 7:41 PM.
Partial and Penumbral Eclipse
As the Moon moves away from the Earth's inner shadow (or umbra), the partial eclipse will be visible until 8:49 PM. After that, the Moon still passes the Earth's outer shadow (or penumbra), although it will be hardly noticeable (there is no "dark bite"). Known as the penumbral eclipse, it will last until 9:56 PM.
Lunar eclipses are safe to watch – there's no need to wear protective glasses or filters for the eyes. The next total lunar eclipse visible in the Philippines is on September 8, 2025.
