My friend has loved this coffee place for the longest time and I went and tried it with him. It’s also great knowing it was established by a Filipino, especially when I finally tried one of their most ordered, the butterscotch latte.

One random Friday night after my nail appointment at SM Aura, we checked out this rooftop bar just at the building next to the mall.

It did not disappoint. Service was spot on. You guys should check it out soon too. It’s a great pre-game spot before going to your favorite BGC hangout destinations. 👌🏻

Sadly, I’m on medication so no cocktails for me. Maybe next time.

If you love sushi like I do but haven’t tried eating it this way, then it’s high time you visit 5678 Handroll & Highball Bar at 5811 Jacobo, Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines. Both their restaurant and the bar area are open daily from 5:00 pm to 12:00 midnight.

We had the Cauayan for P700. It is meant to be eaten by one person only but we requested for it to be prepared to be eaten by two people since we were full prior to discovering this place. We just added one more consommé ala carte.

Barrio Fiesta is dubbed Home of the Original Crispy Pata and Kare-Kare, but after trying their chicken barbecue for the first time today, I think they should add this to the list because they freaking OWNED it. Seriously.

It was tender and tasty and juicy and HUGE. Just right about my top four favorite adjectives put together.

Their mango shake was also truly legit. Like, literally “walang halong kemikal”.

I’m obviously heading towards a chicken and mango shake combo streak on this page, but can you blame me? It’s, like, the literal best pair.

Also, anything that’s connected to or endorsed by Heart Evangelista, I seem to love. 😉❤️

CIBO at SM Aura, BGC, Taguig City 🤤❤️

I had to shop clothes after my hair appointment at Toni&Guy, and a tip for great shopping is to never do it whilst hungry kasi mapapabili ka ng marami. So I had to eat first.

I always wanted to try CIBO every time I see one ‘cause they’re literally almost everywhere I go. I always pronounced it jokingly as “Sibo” before hypothesizing it to be selling famous dishes from Cebu 😂, but the kuya waiter told me it’s pronounced “Chee-bo” since it’s a modern Italian caffé-paninoteca.

The chicken was really good. So tender. Wanted for it to be a bit more salty but I still gave it a 10 out of 10 since it worked well with my spinach dip. It’s a single serving, but I had challenge finishing the entire plate. So I ended up leaving few bits of lovely delicious chicken. I would’ve also wanted it to be juicier. It was slightly juicy but some parts felt dry. Although they gave chicken stock, kinulang pa rin ng slight.

Now, the scene stealer. I’m so glad the kuya recommended this spinach dip while waiting for my entree saying it was their best seller. You have to try it to know why. Just. So. Damn. Good. PERIOD.

Ripe mango shake was basic AF. Real fruit and no artificial sweetener though so it’s a good thing.

I love how this branch is open 24 hours ready to feed me anytime of the day.

I had Bacon Breakfast (available all-day), and it’s literally as good as bacon gets. Cooked sinfully the way I wanted it. Portions were enough. Egg was perfect. For P250, it was worth every penny.

I had it with my all-time favorite freshly brewed LiberTea iced tea at P130 for 500 ml with a very cute reusable bottle. This you can never go wrong with.

Now to my favorite and mind-blowing part. The Chicken Burrito that I had to eat at home since I was too full from my bacon meal. Let me tell you something, this is something you should try and taste for yourself. I mean, it blew my mind whilst eating it cold at home, how much more if I ate it at the actual restaurant. That’s what I’ll definitely do next time. My P275 never tasted this good. I swear.

Salmon Poke Quinoa (for sharing): 9.5/10 (P330)

One thing about me is that when I see salmon or prawn or shrimp on the menu, I always tend to order that no matter what dish it is. Unfortunately for me at this time, I wanted a heavy meal. I didn’t notice right away that it was quinoa instead of white rice. Glad I enjoyed it still.

Charlie’s Golden Ticket Milkshake (petite): 6/10 (P115)

I ordered this as an add-on to the poke bowl. I didn’t notice the size. I would have wanted a bigger serving and a less-sweet one. It felt more like a dessert than a milkshake. I don’t recommend this.
