Our wisdom teeth, if present, usually appear later in life at the age of 18 years old onwards.

While removal is not always necessary, in some cases extraction is required due to the problems the wisdom tooth causes to our other teeth and its surrounding areas.

In this case, all four wisdom teeth had to be removed in preparation for Orthodontic Treatment with Self-Ligating Braces as the four wisdom teeth are causing crowding and protrusion of the patient's front teeth.

Fully restoring decayed teeth sometimes requires multiple procedures (such as Root Canal Treatment, Crowns, Crow Lengthening Surgery) and usually takes time. Rest assured, at Hidden Gem Dental Center, we do not want patients to leave our clinic still having a broken smile.

With thoughtful planning, Smile Transformation can be done in stages. This is accomplished with Temporary Restorations that will serve as a pattern for the Permanent Restorations. This will help our team design the patient's new smile while providing the patient an opportunity to interact with other people with confidence even with ongoing treatment.

For this case, Root Canal Treatment was initiated by Doc Eric in several teeth, together with caries control Restorations. Crowns will be used to restore the badly broken teeth but only after surgically lengthening the broken teeth and correcting the bite with braces to decrease the extra biting force on the said teeth.
