In our commitment to sustainable development and reducing plastic waste, Manila Arduino is proud to announce that starting next month, we will be using 100% recycled composite material in most of our scientific research prototypes. While the traditional metal and 3D printed parts are still available, the composite material will be prescribed for general use.
This innovative composite is made from shredded plastic and biscuit packaging, which would otherwise be polluting our waterways. By repurposing these materials, we not only divert waste from landfills but also create durable and reliable components for prototyping and high-tech machine fabrication.

Today, we celebrate the Manila Arduino Fabrication Laboratory’s one year of making a difference in the lives of Filipinos through solutions-oriented technology. Founded on June 30, 2023, the Manila Arduino aims to leverage technology to solve the problems facing our communities. This scientific venture is an offshoot of the Laguna Arduino, which began operations in 2018.
We are off-duty from 5 PM to 9 PM. Operations will resume at 9 PM.
Our wish beyond this year is to continue driving positive change in our communities together with our research and fabrication partners.
This advanced watercraft is an innovative scientific project developed by young researchers from Vinzon’s Pilot High School in Camarines Sur. This venture aims to address critical environmental issues by providing real-time data on advanced aquatic parameters from local water bodies such as rivers and lakes. The project aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on the protection of water-related ecosystems.
In its initial iteration, the project faced several implementation challenges. However, an overhaul was made while retaining the original chassis. This system overhaul is carried out in collaboration with the Manila Arduino Fabrication Laboratory to correct initial design errors, leveraging advanced mechatronics techniques to enhance the machine’s capabilities.
