✨💚 Today, Spark Child Center teachers had an opportunity to be trained by Ms Tasha Reyes- Mendoza, a reading intervention specialist, co-founder and director of programs at the Center for Reading Assessment and Intervention, Philippines (CRAIN, inc.) and the author of the book “Beginner’s Bookshelf”

Her topic on “Beginning Reading: teaching for competence, ease and joy” gave our teachers a fresh perspective on how we can effectively influence our students to develop a genuine love for reading. Indeed, there is a journey towards this destination— thank you for all the tips on different methods and approaches!

We are looking forward to share this with our parents since “Home Literacy” plays a vital role in achieving this goal. Stay tuned for updates on Spark’s Parent Seminars. ☀️
