Empowering Future Heroes with the Emergency Medical Responder Course

Students from the Olivares College Tagaytay took the Emergency Medical Responder Course from HCT for three weeks, unlocking their life-saving skills. They were taught different skills such as Basic Life Support, Bleeding Control, Airway Management, and responding to Medical Emergencies like heart attacks, strokes, seizures, and allergic reactions. They also learned how to immobilize the head, neck, and spine and other trauma injuries.

The course was educated excellently by our skills preceptors, Mr. Rey Generoso, Mr. Ceejay Custudio, Mr. Zayrus Nonanto, and Ms. Christina Angeles, who were deployed to the Olivares College Tagaytay.

The Emergency Medical Responder Course is a pre-hospital management of a critical patient who needs medical interventions. EMRs are knowledgeable and skilled individuals who can provide immediate life-saving interventions.
