1. Most popular AI platforms are owned and managed by the world's largest technology companies. If we use these platforms in our daily work, we'll become even more dependent on them. This is particularly dangerous for companies building their solutions on top of these platforms for their internal use or the use of their customers.

One way to mitigate the risk of over-reliance on popular AI platforms is to spread usage among different platforms. Each company's AI platform has distinct strengths and weaknesses, and by diversifying, companies can take control of their AI strategies and leverage the unique benefits of each platform.

2. AI platforms heavily rely on the data used to train the models that power the 'intelligence' behind them. This is why only prominent companies can provide these powerful, all-purpose platforms for a broad audience. However, it's crucial to know that not all the data these platforms offer are reliable and suitable. Companies building solutions on top of AI platforms should exercise caution and ensure their data is accurate and trustworthy.
