Excitement fills our clinic as we welcome newborns with a surprise—natal teeth, right from birth! Though interesting, their removal is crucial for safety. Natal teeth, present at birth, can pose risks like injury during breastfeeding, and their mobility increases the chance of choking. By addressing these factors, we ensure the safety of both the baby and the mother, setting the stage for a healthy dental beginning! 🦷👶✨

This little one's birthday wish? Sparkling white teeth! Consider it granted, courtesy of the tooth fairy herself, fulfilling this little one's birthday wish for sparkling white teeth! 🧚✨

This little 3 year old is a frequent patient in our clinic due to his cavities and dislike for his brown front teeth. Remarkably, he underwent the restoration of all seven cavities without any form of sedation. Despite the usual challenges, he proved to be exceptionally cooperative throughout the procedure and did not cry—an uncommon trait in little ones undergoing dental treatments. 🦷

Guess what he requested right after the procedure? A mirror! He couldn't wait to check out his dazzling, pearly whites and rock that sparkling smile! 🤍

Why fix baby teeth?

Baby teeth are as important to infants and children as permanent teeth are to older children and adults.

These baby teeth are necessary for a child to chew and speak. But baby teeth serve another very important purpose--they save space for the child's future permanent teeth.

Untreated baby teeth can also cause pain, infection, abscess, facial swelling, and can affect permanent teeth which can cause long-term issues for your child’s oral health. 🦷

KIDS CAN WEAR DENTURES TOO! 😍

Our 7 year old patient is an actress/model and is in need of a full set of teeth for future projects ASAP! At this age, it is normal to have few missing teeth, but due to cosmetic concerns, we fabricated pedo-partials to replace her missing front tooth. 🦷

Pedo-partial or commonly known as “flipper” is a removable appliance made for children to restore the appearance of natural teeth. It also functions as a holding space until the permanent tooth comes out to prevent crowding. 😁

This appliance is ideal for child models, children competing in beauty pageants, or for those who want a beautiful smile for special events. This is also very helpful in boosting your child’s confidence! 💓

At Castillo's Dental Clinic, we understand the importance of taking a break to recharge for more fulfilling work. Our annual summer getaway last May 20-21, 2023, in Lobo, Batangas, reminded us of this invaluable lesson. All dental staffs from Pateros, Cainta, and Cua Dental Clinic are included in this memorable trip!

🏖️⛱️ We embraced the sun, relaxed on the beach, and let the soothing waves wash away our stress. It was a time to unwind, rejuvenate, and return with renewed energy.
