Special Program in the Arts - Quisao Integrated National High School

Now that the implementation of the Special Program in the Arts (SPA) in Quisao Integrated National High School is in its blessed third year, there's no altering the trajectory of our artistic journey. Only upward and forward we go. No expectation is lowered, no passion tempered, no opportunity squandered. All together, we are keen on maximizing our potentials until we become the best artists we will have ever been.

To realize these aspirations, we need the right people to be at the forefront of our procession towards excellence. By means of elections, the SPA community has decided to entrust itself in the hands of select people equipped with leadership skills needed to keep the program thriving. Hence, we are mighty proud to officially introduce the SPA Club, SPA Parents Officers, and SPA Faculty for the School Year 2024-2025!

Basta sama-sama't iisa sa puso't isip, patuloy kaming magniningning sa iba't ibang anyo ng sining. Mabuhay ang SPA ng QINHS! Shine, Quisao, shine!

DEAR SPA HOPEFULS:

Auditions and interviews are scheduled for tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. for SPA 7 enrollees on the following disciplines:
• Theater Arts
• Visual Arts
• Music (Rondalla)
• Music (Brass & Woodwind)
• Dance

Here things to bring (This is a running list. Please refresh from time to time):
• Visual Arts: art materials
• Music (Brass & Woodwind): minus one
• Theater Arts: none

NOTE: SPA students from the elementary school are exempt from the auditions and interviews.

ENROLMENT FOR SPA 7 IS EXTENDED! ✍🏽

You can still register until July 11, 2024 (8:00-12:00 in the morning, 1:00-3:00 in the afternoon).

The disciplines offered are the following:

• Music (Vocal)
• Music (Instrumental - Brass & Woodwind)
• Music (Instrumental - Rondalla)
• Dance
• Visual Arts
• Theater Arts
• Creative Writing

Just bring your Grade 6 School Form 9 (Report Card), and a photocopy of your birth certificate (preferably PSA). Also, prepare for the 30-item admission test.

Additional Announcement:
The audition and the interview are on July 12, 2024. Time is to be announced as soon as possible.

If you are interested, just proceed to the school and look for the Grade 7 SPA enrolment area to register.

Once you become part of QINHS Rondalla, you will also be enrolled in the Special Program in the Arts (SPA).

• Must be enrolled in QINHS
• A general average of 83% or higher and no grade lower than 80% in any subjects from the previous school.
• Must pass the written test, audition, and interview
