PRAYER FOR THE CENTENARY CELEBRATION
In joyful anticipation and thanksgiving for the 100th anniversary of the Canonical Coronation of the image of Our Lady of Peñafrancia, Archbishop Rex Andrew C. Alarcon, through a Circular issued on 15 August 2024, invites us to spiritually prepare by joining our minds and hearts in prayer.

This prayer will be recited before the Final Blessing in all Masses starting on 18 August until the last day of the year.

“While we endeavor to come up with memorable celebrations, it is hoped that this prayer will unite us to focus on Inâ, our Queen and Mother. This historic event must lead to a stronger resolve to follow her example and share her maternal love to all peoples in the world.” (From the Circular Number 0021, Series of 2024 of Archbishop Alarcon)

In line with the Marian Youth Congress 2024, outlined below is the schedule of activities for September 14-15. The two-day event will feature:

✅ Formation sessions that aim to empower young people into how they can thrive personally, embrace timeless values, and create vibrant communities together.

✅ Plenary session where they can reinforce the lessons that they’ve gained, and put their new insights into action, while sharing their experiences and supporting each other.

This is a great chance for young people to come together in faith, build friendships, and join in the Church’s mission to spread its message.

The Congress is open to all Baptized Catholics in the Archdiocese of Cáceres and its Suffragan Dioceses who are at least fifteen (15) years old on the day of the Congress.
