As a crocheter, we often hear things like...

"Ang mahal naman yan!"
◾ Yes, it is expensive. We consider everything when it comes to our prices. It is not just the materials you are paying, also our time and effort. If you think it is expensive then it only means you are not our target market. 😊

"Madali lang naman yan, kayang kaya ko din yan eh."
◾ Kung kayang kaya niyo lang naman pala, edi kayo na po ang gumawa. No need to invalidate our hours of hard work.

"Madali lang naman yan, kaya ko lang yan sa iisang upuan."
◾Sure po, iisang upuan lang. Mga 10 hours. 🙂

All of these are unsolicited remarks, mostly from people who don't do arts and crafts products. We, crocheters, are local artists too. It takes a lot of time and energy to finish one project.

It may look easy for you but seriously, it's not. Even small projects, sometimes it's the one who takes more time than bigger projects. Nakailang tastas din po kami bago namin na perfect ang mga produkto namin. Ilang yarns din po ang nasayang at ilang hooks na napanas dahil sa kakagamit namin.

Hindi lang ang products namin ang natatanggap niyo, pati na rin ang aming dedication at creativity. Our blood, sweat, and tears.

Para sa iba, siguro hobby lang talaga ang pagc-crochet, pero para naman sa iba, pangkabuhayan na po ito. Source of income nila kumbaga. Huwag niyo po sanang nila-"lang" lang ang mga gawa namin. 😊

Hindi po namin ito minemekus-mekus lang. 😅
