We want to introduce you to our amazing instructor, Alex.
We’ve never shared much about our team, and now it’s time.

Alex has spent his life immersed in active and extreme sports.
He’s a two-time Russian Freestyle Kayaking Champion and has won numerous awards in whitewater kayaking competitions.
He also holds the title of Master of Sports in Water Tourism in Russia and was part of a successful expedition to Peak Communism (7,495 meters).

After a serious injury and knee replacement surgery, Alex had to give up kayaking and skiing.
That’s when freediving came into his life.
Since 2018, Alex has been a passionate freediving instructor and even opened our freediving school in the Philippines.

Today, we celebrate another milestone: Alex is now a Molchanovs Instructor Trainer!

Meet Ekaterina and her instructor Victoria.
Ekaterina is a passionate diver who embarked on a 9-day journey of learning and growth at our hotel and freediving school. Despite being an experienced scuba diver, she faced unexpected challenges in adapting to freediving techniques. Without the familiar air tank and head-down pressure equalization, she struggled to dive steadily and even meet Wave 1 course requirements.

It wasn’t easy for her, but Ekaterina persevered, mastering new exercises to learn the Frenzel equalization method and control her soft palate. Our team supported her every step of the way. On the last day, everything clicked for her, and she left us as a certified freediver! We are incredibly proud of her determination and success.

At the beginning of May, the wonderful Anastasia visited our freediving school.

She stayed with us for only 5 days, but despite such a short period, she managed to increase her personal best.

As Anastasia noted in her review (swipe through the carousel), our instructor Aleksandr quickly identified the issue that was preventing her from diving deeper. They worked both on land and in the sea, and Anastasia left feeling relaxed, satisfied, and happy with new personal best:
FIM - 35 meters,
CWTB - 38 meters!

Today I want to tell you about Eugeny

When he first came to our school, he wrote that he had just completed the "Wave 1" course but was the worst student in the class :)
He couldn't do anything: he dived to 5 meters, couldn't meet the requirements, and didn't understand anything.
But he wants to try to continue

He needed to leave Bali and go somewhere to viza run, and he chose the Philippines.
Coming to our school for one week, he stayed for a significantly longer period.
And during all this time, he dived, and he succeeded! He managed to relax. He managed to dive to 25 meters, and most importantly - enjoy the process, feel the silence and calmness of the blue water around him.

Now he is back in Bali and continues his journey in freediving. We are damn glad that we could help him in this small difficulty on his way.

Basic freediving course Molchanovs Wave 1

This course is suitable for everyone, even if you have never had any experience in freediving but would like to try. The only requirement is the ability to swim, we will teach you everything else!

Come to our freediving school FreeDive Inn in Puerto Galera, Philippines and have an unforgettable experience.

This beginner course is the best way to explore the underwater world and discover yourself.

You will have 3 intensive days of training.

The course includes: 2 pool sessions and 3 open water sessions, as well as theoretical and practical classes.

Before entering the water, you will receive important and interesting information that will help you understand what happens to your body during breath-hold dives.

You will understand how changes in depth and pressure affect our body and learn the correct skills for equalization.

You will master the proper breathing techniques before and after diving, and perhaps take the deepest breath of your life.
