Getting there 🙏🏻
Just want to share how very supportive our grandmother is — While I am doing my errands somewhere, here they are, buying stuff to make sure our relief packs are well taken care of.
She wanted to go so bad (we insisted she didn’t have to go, you know what happened next 😉) we had to reluctantly say yes she could go, with extra precautions of course!
All these will be sent to Tuguegarao tomorrow.
Salamat sa donations, KAPWA!
Hi! As you may all know we have been distributing PPEs to several hospitals since May. With your help, we were able to raise a good number of PPEs to help our frontliners until the supply and allocation was enough.
Fast forward to now, and we are once again struck by a disaster. We have sent little amounts with the remaining monetary donations that we have to Tuguegarao, so we could be of help to other teams (they call it helping hands) mobilizing a food drive and sending relief packs to the affected. Thank you! If not for the previous spare donations, without you who believed in this group it would be impossible to send aid right away.
We are still left with huge number of victims needing our help and because of this, we are humbly asking again for SPARE BLANKETS, PILLOWS AND/OR SLEEPING BAGS for the victims of the recent typhoon.
We will be in contact with some of disaster teams and the evacuation centers to see which needed the blanket and pillows we will be providing.
If its not too much to ask, we are in desperate need of CLEAN, and/or SANITIZED PILLOWS, BLANKETS, ETC (usable not necessarily new)
Canned goods, food packs or any ready to eat are also a plus (we believe most evacuees and victims still dont have the means to cook.)
We will also be in touch with some of the people we know organizing and mobilizing a relief / food drive and will let you know who the beneficiaries are. Target is within Marikina and Rizal. We will try to cater areas who are the most in need and those who have not been reached by any organization yet.
Kindly send us a message if you have anything to send or if you know anyone we might be able to tap so we could arrange a meeting or a drop off location for all the donations we could possibly gather.
No amount of help is too small. Kapit lang, kapwa, malalagpasan natin ito.
Maraming Salamat!
This is HEARTBREAKING! 😭
Lolo Carlito, the elder who was seen on top of a roof during Typhoon Ulysses onslaught, has died.
Lolo Carlito is one of the 18 elders who are being taken care of in a shelter in Marikina.
According to uploade Sean G***r, "they are currently staying in an evacuation center, sleeping on the floor or on the tables, and even chairs because they were not able to spare any mattress or pillow or blankets."
Should you want to extend help to our lolos and lolas, Pagbangon is putting up a DONATION DRIVE X MEDICAL MISSION specifically for our lolos and lolas in the shelter.

It started with a chat - our aunt roll calling her sisters asking to pitch in a few bucks to raise aid.
Right at the same time colleagues from other group chat discussing “how do we get through this task alive?”
So finally with the sign from above we all agreed on this cause.
This is our 500th PPE.
GOD is good.
We got this far.
We couldn’t have done this without you.

I always wondered what our purpose in life is. When death comes and God asks, what good have we done to deserve the life we had?
May this be a reminder of how fortunate we are now, to be able to have more than enough and be of help to others in ways that we could.
Salamat sa malasakit, Kapwa.
Delivered PPEs to our lovely and hardworking friends from the University of Santo Tomas Hospital! From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for your service.

These food packs are ready to be distributed to our nearby communities and our . Thank you, Sir Rome De La Rosa and Ms Ivy De La Rosa for the overwhelming support.
What exempts heroes from others — the desire to help is always there with or without recognition. This pandemic made us realize that there is always good in every situation. In this time of trial, where fear worry and safety is of utmost concern, somebody braves the storm and stands up for the rest.
Makes us believe that there is indeed faith in humanity. ❤️
Salamat, Kapwa!
