September has been declared the National Science Club Month (NSCM) according to Presidential Proclamation No. 264, s. of 2002. With this, Pisay-Main echoes PSYSC’s invitation to join their workshops, competitions, and activities.

For this year’s National Science Club Month, the topic is Climatology with the theme “ClimaQuest: Forecasting Wind Shifts, Charting Climate Futures”.

[SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY]
We are now accepting applications for Philippine Science High School International Alumni Foundation, Inc. (Pisayian) Scholarship 2024 for the first semester of the academic year 2024-2025.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have graduated from the Philippine Science High School (PSHS) System;
• Enrolled at UP Diliman, UP Los Baños, and UP Manila;
• If incoming freshman, must have qualified for admission to the University of the Philippines Diliman by passing UPCAT;
• If sophomore or junior students, must have obtained a general weighted average of "2.50" or better and must have carried a load of at least 15 units with no grade of "5.0" or unremoved "4.0" or "Inc." in the semester immediately preceding the application;
• Must be registered with the online PSHS alumni platform, Pisay Network, at https://pisay.net/ ;
• Must be a regular student enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in the fields of SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, or MATHEMATICS (STEM);
• Must be enrolled in at least 12 units but not more than 18 units at the time of the award of the grant;
• Must not be a recipient of any scholarship grant;
• Must be financially needy, parents' annual gross income must not exceed P500,000.00;
• Must not have been the subject of any disciplinary action; and
• Must be a Filipino citizen with no pending or approved application as immigrant to any foreign country.

BENEFITS:
Monthly Stipend: Php 6,000.00
Book Allowance: Php 5,000.00 per semester
