Sa larong Volleyball Girls nagwagi ang ACTS laban sa PWU at SBMSCI, na kung saan nakita natin ang kanilang buong husay na paglalaro. At sa Volleyball Boys naman ang nanalo ay ang PWU laban sa ACTS at SBMSCI.

Sa larangan naman ng Basketball ang nanalo naman ay ang ACTS laban sa PWU at SBMSCI, mahuhusay! kitang-kita naman natin ang kanilang kompiyansa at tiwala sa sarili habang naglalaro.

Naging matagumpay ang Inter-Private 2023!

Hey, hey, hey, Montessorians! Did you have fun? Because we did!

Last October 20, 2023, Southbay Montessori School and Colleges, Inc. hosted a Bubble Run which made the students’ day so fun! It is the bubbliest fun run we have ever experienced! They really proved the line ‘𝓓𝓲𝓽𝓸 𝓼𝓪 𝓢𝓸𝓾𝓽𝓱𝓫𝓪𝔂, 𝓪𝓷𝓰 𝓼𝓪𝔂𝓪-𝓼𝓪𝔂𝓪! ’ We can see the joy in the smiles of the students, teachers, staff, and parents!

We really had fun participating in this spectacular event. That is just the beginning; wait for more successful events that SBMSCI will host!

𝑳𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒈𝒐 𝒏𝒈 𝑲𝒂𝒔𝒖𝒐𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒐 2023

During this occurrence, our people’s miscellaneous aboriginal attire and ensembles are accentuated.

Learners are encouraged by their teachers to wear their most spectacular native dresses and costumes. As the event began, we saw incredible students wearing their stunning outfits. Each section took the opportunity to have a class picture on the front stage with their amazing advisers. The representatives in each section started to walk on the aisle while giving their best walk and making the audience appreciate their outfits.

Every inch of the hall is filled with students appreciating the program, food, and photo booth. We can see how happy everyone is to see our native dresses and costumes being worn by the students. It feels so warm to see people relishing the ancient clothes. They really made an effort for this event. Surely the Filipinos are more than proud of y’all!

It has been a long tradition of the school to welcome new students as they embark to another academic year.

This celebration also marks the beginning of another joyful journey for the students, faculty and staff of the institution.

Earlier this morning, SBMSCI held its first Wednesday Mass for the month of September. The attendees were students from 5th, 9th and 11th grades.

This serves as an opportunity for the students to reconnect with the Almighty God amidst adversity.

Furthermore, this shows that the institution cares about the students' wellbeing in addition to reaching educational achievement.

Celebration of Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2023

August isn't complete without celebrating Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa! And for this to happen, SBMSCI held an event just yesterday, August 31, 2023 embracing the theme: "Filipino at Mga Katutubong Wika: Wika ng Kapayapaan, Seguridad, and Ingklusibong Pagpapatupad ng Katarungang Panlipunan."

Three competitions were held to display the skills and talents of Montessorians while also demonstrating their appreciation for the Filipino language. The aforementioned competitions included ones for composing poems, slogans, and posters.

In our cherished nation, Montessorians were able to demonstrate that they are not just gifted and skilled but also loving compatriots.

NEWS| SBMSCI’s Mr. and Ms. BIPCAM Bring Home the 2nd Crown and Major Awards.

With the winning answers of SBMSCI’s Ms. Kiara Nicole Camara and Mr. Myt Noeh Fernandez, the 2nd and 4th Runner-Up awards were obtained during the Mr. and Ms. BIPCAM season 6 held at Cultural Center, Sta. Cruz Laguna, on April 21, 2023.

In the pageant held, the six participating schools competed against each other to represent their schools and their advocacy. The schools, such as PWU, SBMSCI, ACTS, AVM, PSBC, and LYBC, took part in the Mr. and Ms. BIPCAM 2023, where Kiara Nicole Camara of SBMSCI unveiled her winning answers with confidence and intelligence, which made her obtain the 2nd Runner-Up place and the Ms. Popularity award during the pageant. While, Mr. Myt Noeh Fernandez won the 4th Runner-Up award.

The crown and awards received by SBMSCI candidates also stand for success, responsibilities, and the hallmark of triumph through a challenging, laborious, and persevering road.

The event ended with the awarding of the overall winners of BIPCAM 2023, where SBMSCI attained 4th place.

NEWS| SBMSCI's Valiant Notched up the 1st Place in the Scrabble Competition

Frances Elaine Adelan of SBMSCI garnered the 1st place in the Scrabble competition administered at Southbay Montessori School and Colleges, Inc., on the third day of BIPCAM 2023.

Upon fulfilling the board with numerous letters to form a word, only one of the six participating schools were able to drawn the highest score. SBMSCI rank as the 1st place, PSBC obtained the 2nd place while ACTS COMPUTER COLLEGE secured the 3rd place, PWU achieved the 4th place and AVM landed on the 5th place.

Adelan's strategy in establishing words out of numerous letters helped her to beat her opponents. In the end, all of the participants exhibited sportsmanship and camaraderie, which were the primary goals of BIPCAM season six.

NEWS| SBMSCI Seizes 3rd Place in the Singles Badminton Tournament

SBMSCI's player, Jan Karlo Valle clutches the third place of Badminton single tournament, Men Category held at Laguna Sports Complex on 18th day of April.

The third day of the Baybay Inter-Private Colleges Athletic Meet (BIPCAM) revealed the agility of all players in the badminton men's category tournament. At the end of the said game, the results were announced: ACTS dominates the field; securing the first place in the tournament, while PSBC takes the second place, SBMSCI seizes the third place, and PWU takes the fourth place.

All competitors have shown great skill on the field, and all have great sportsmanship throughout the competition, but all games must have a winner.

NEWS | PWU Bagged The 1st Place in the Held Dance Sport Competition

Baybay Inter-Private Colleges Athletic Meet (BIPCAM) season 6 had officially started today, April 17, 2023 at Southbay Montessori School and Colleges, Inc., wherein PWU dominates the Dance Sport Competition.

Six participating schools, including PWU, SBMSCI, ACTS, AVM, PSBC, and LYBC, joined the first day of the said event.

One of the competitions held was the Dance Sport competition, where the participants exhibited extraordinary skills, courage, and determination. The competition was categorized into three: Cha-Cha, Rumba and Jive.

All the participants showcased great agility, but the PWU prevails in the said competition. On the other hand, ACTS won the second place, PSBC secured the third place, AVM acquired the fourth place, and SBMSCI got the fifth place.

PWU Reigns on The Dance Floor

With an exceptional level of performance, the PWU triumphed in the battle of modern dance competition in Baybay Inter-private Colleges Athletic Meet held at Southbay Montessori School and Colleges Inc. on Monday, April 17.

Dancing is a great passion that involves a series of steps and movements with speed and rhythm. In the modern dance competition that occurred, the PWU warriors secured the first place, followed by PSBC in the second place, ACTS in the third place, AVM in the fourth place, and SBMSCI in the fifth place.

The average scores of the dancers in the competition are different, but the experience will always remain in the hearts of all performers.

BIPCAM Officially Opens Season VI of Sportsmanship

On the 17th day of April 2023, different institutions including PSBC, ACTS, PWU, LYBC, AVM, and SBMSCI gathered for an amazing participation in the BIPCAM 2023 Season VI.

On the second day of BIPCAM, hundreds of students attended wearing costumes based on their sports, such as dance sport, modern dance, volleyball, basketball, and different types of board games. Also, the faculties and the organizers of the event gave their moral support to their beloved students to build their confidence to a hundred percent.

"This meet was established to recognize the importance of sports for our students," Jan Patrick Kalaw, school administrator, said in his inspirational message.

The second day of the event also ended with camaraderie and sportsmanship among all participating schools.

The escapism that I can't ever escape

The sky was grey, the rain was pouring
I'm palpitating because of the amount of coffee I drank that day

SBMSCI Conducts Gift Giving Program

The Southbay Montessori School and Colleges, Inc., successfully held its continuing tradition of Christmas gift-giving program headed by the SPC, SSC, SSG, SGO, and Interact Club officers on this day, December 13.

Gift-giving portrays love and generosity as human beings. It allows an expression of appreciation wherein approximately 40 beneficiaries received gifts from the said program.

"Kapag nag share ka ng blessings, ang babalik sa inyo ay siksik at liglig; hindi lamang sa wealth pati sa health," said school president Kalaw.

The event would not be possible without the students' love and donations. Thus, the program ended with the raffles and a farewell note.
