Our Story
It was 1995 in Nueva Vizcaya where everything began. "The Buko Pie" was a local delicacy that was being sold as a take-away/pasalubong to tourists at that time. Despite its appeal in terms of taste, it gradually lost traction among the province's visitors and locals.
A lot of reasons can be attributed for its decline. However, the product; lacking it's own identity may have been the most resounding of them all. Fast forward to 2019, it has been 6 years since it was established. Filipina Buko Pie has become a popular take-away among residents along Mother Ignacia in Quezon City. And even to people miles away from the vicinity. Mr. Lim's trust and confidence in the product has been validated. Then came the summer of 2013, when Mr. Yarlie Lim decided to bring the product to the metro; along with "Filipina", who was the keeper of the popular coconut pie recipe. Thus, Filipina Buko Pie was born.
It is now time for its reach to expand, up to the homes of every Filipino. "Taralets" or "Let's go" was the call to action; hence the name "Bukulets". The new name, its famous products, coupled with the brand's mascot, "Kulet", the happy kid in the logo; will bring that jolt of fun
