We also pray for the eternal repose of the soul of Fr. Larry Faraon, OP who had been the House With No Steps Foundation's Spiritual Director for so many years and our regular Retreat Master
during our Annual Spiritual Enrichment and Recollection for Paraplegics held every December at the School of Labor and Industrial Relations (SOLAIR) Auditorium, U.P. Diliman. We are so deeply saddened for his passing. The foundation is also thankful for his concern over the poor and especially for persons with disabilities. Fr. Larry always keeps our recollection exciting with his richness sense of humor and homilies that make the word of God works and come alive. He never fails to share with us his precious time for spiritual enlightenment to people with disabilities every end of the year. You'll always be in our hearts Fr. Larry Faraon . . .

The Rondalla On Wheels performed their music during the unveiling of the new Laundry Livelihood Project of the House with No Steps Foundation Philippines. Rondalla On Wheels is a band of instrumental music composed of ten young men and women who are sheltered in Bahay Mapagmahal, one of the affiliate homes of the foundation. All of its members have different types of disabilities. Nevertheless, not a hindrance for them to play as a music band. The group was established by Sr. Roos Catry, an ICM nun & also a Belgian missionary and Prof. Antonio Tallada, a former band officer of the University of the Philippines (UP) way back in 1978. They enable us to raise awareness in our society about their capabilities as children with disabilities as they live by their motto “It is the ability that counts, not disability”.
